Most of the hardware facilities are good, but the trash cans in the room and toilet are too small. The overall atmosphere is great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast tastes good too. The pool is also great. The free bicycle rental service is also very good, but it is recommended to pay more attention to the brake problem. The brakes of some bicycles feel a bit loose. The location is very good, quiet and quiet. The only thing that made us uncomfortable was the attitude of the staff. I had paid all the housing payments online in advance, but I was asked to pay an additional deposit of 2,000 baht on site, which shocked us. A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

Arriving here after a long travel day was like seeing an oasis, the large white gates and hotel staff greeted us - taking our bags and directing us where to sign in - all in a very quiet setting (the hotel is always quiet - very little outside noises and staff/guests are considerate of the peaceful atmosphere). Extremely clean, pool was relaxing and refreshing. The grounds was like walking amongst a museum with lighting at night. We had a suite for 4 of us - two master bedrooms joined by a large comfortable living room and a private covered deck where we spent much time reading, sleeping, catching up on our jet lagged bodies. The location is at the heart of many temples and in old city, foot rubs, places to eat, and a wonderful laundry lady across the street who had our clothes cleaner than we've ever had them in 24 hours. The restaurant was elegant, quiet, dinner was accompanied by local live music which was just the right volume. When we return, we will stay here again.

I’m in love with this place. Really convenient location and, walking into the property, you feel like you’re in another world. It’s a gorgeous and peaceful place. I have never stayed anywhere with such thoughtful attention to detail. For example: they gave me a “welcome back” cake as well as a hand-written note on my most recent visit which was impressive considering my last stay was almost 4 years ago! Upon checkout, they prepared a little sandwich for me for the taxi ride to Pai (which they also facilitated). The afternoon tea is delightful as is the breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Everyone is so lovely and helpful and kind. I feel truly taken care of when I’m here and am looking forward to my next visit.

A very good experience. You have to call before checking in and the owner will give you a key. The owner's sister is very nice. The only bad thing is that the site is isolated and there will be construction starting at 7:30 in the morning. If you are a person who wakes up easily, there will be construction. Highly recommended. There will be a Lotus and 711 at the intersection. There is a store nearby. There are many stalls selling wild food on the main road at night. There are 3 rooms, two toilets, and some basic cooking tools and a washing machine.

Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. There is a kitten that is part of the hotel super funny We recommend it to spend a few days in Chiang Mai it meets the essential requirements of quality price location We would return for sure

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed so far. Very clean and looks very nice and pleasing. I think this is newly built. Staff are so kind and accommodating. Place is close to temples, massage spas, stores, restos, old gate is 20 min walk. I don’t usually like being on the top bunk but this stay was comfortable. Beds are nice and sturdy. Big too. You dont hear a noise when going up the top bunk. Small breakfast of coffee and toast are provided in the morning.

We wanted to stay through Jan.1 at our original luxury hotel, but we could not at the time of booking, nor, was there a vacancy during our stay. We looked at google maps and tried all of the places closest. No vacancies. We found this budget hotel that had ONE room left! It is in walking distance to Three Kings Monument, Phra Singh, and other Old City venues, massage spas, etc. Estia has a cottage feeling, like a hotel in rural Europe with Thai surroundings. Everything was clean, large bathroom, hot water, the usual soaps and shampoos. bring your own conditioner and shavers. We always bring our own just in case, but sometimes these budget hotels will give you them if you ask. The wifi was strong. The TV had the usual Thai channels with a few in English. The gardens were sweet with lots of flowers. The pool is clean and more lounge chairs than at some luxury hotels! The indoor dining area is large for groups and you can sit outside but it might not be convenient for toasting bread etc. We only ate breakfast, and, at 149 baht, it was very reasonable. A water jug and clean glasses, an automated americano and espresso machine, fresh milk and cream, cereals including muesli etc. White and whole wheat bread. You choose from menu pancakes or eggs of different cooking methods. Two eggs. You get a small plate of two types of fruit. If you calculate the cost of coffee, this 149 baht price is very fair. A suggestion for certain travelers: you could stay at a luxury resort a day or more for the experience then switch to Estia for the rest of the week unless you are very picky, because if you are a tourist out all day then this is just a place to sleep. We live in Chiang Mai as retirees. Staying in Estia brought me back to my youth traveling around Europe! At $27 a night, Estia may surprise you. I recently spent five nights in this hotel, arriving from Bangkok. First impressions of Lavana were brilliant, the entrance is tucked away down a decked walkway and the reception area is lovely and welcoming. The check in staff were excellent and really informative about the hotel and immediate area. The room, which was a deluxe suite, was amazing - the best hotel room I've ever stayed in in Thailand and possibly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in in general. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious. It also contained a stocked drinks fridge and complimentary snacks (fruit and crisps), luxurious white bath robes, slippers and a wide range of complimentary toiletries. The hotels pool area was small but clean and I highly recommend the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was fresh, delicious and high quality. There are only two things that I think that Lavana could improve on. These are the lack of hangers in the wardrobe - there was only two, which I do not think is sufficient and the seating/lounge area around the pool. There was extremely limited seating at the pool area and no loungers available. As space is limited I would suggest having fold up loungers for guests to use. To sum up, this is a gorgeous hotel which is definitely worth the money paid. The staff are wonderful, the room was immaculate and comfortable and the location is excellent for exploring Chiang Mai.

This is a very nice little Boutique Hotel in a very central location within the Old City. On Sundays , you can just step out of the hotel to the Sunday Walking Street Market! Despite being a Busy Street on the weekends , inside the hotel , it is relatively quiet and peaceful. You can easily Grab to and from this hotel. Upon check in, staff are warm and friendly. Check in was a breeze and we were introduced to the room personally and the special hotel app whereby you can send in your requests 24-7. Hotel also offers 2 free drinks from the mini bar daily. Room is spacious and well appointed. Stayed in room 207 with balcony and pool view. Breakfast can be ordered to the room or at the cafe which is semi buffet style. You may order any set from the menu and have bread , fruit , cereal , salad and juices from the buffet bar. Food quality is alright. There is a gym which faces the street outside with free bicycles for guests use. There is a spa within the hotel but I did not try that. Found a very good spa just 2 shops beside the hotel. Zenza Spa offers awesome massage in a very clean and relaxing environment ! Went back there 3 days in a row! Look for May or Ann at Zenza, they are so friendly and professional! Now the not so good part… my room 207 is on the 2nd floor and need to climb up 2 small flights of stairs to reach the room. There is no bath tub within the room. Hence if you have kids or elderly travelling with you, it is recommended to go for the pool access rooms on the ground floor. The wifi in the room seems a bit weak and kept getting disconnected . Pillows are a bit too soft and there is no pillow menu for selection of pillows. Towels seems a bit old and yellowish too even though they are changed daily. It’s a good and well appointed hotel but definitely not a 5 * luxury boutique hotel. However for the rate we paid for , it is reasonable.

The location of the hotel is very good, even the various attractions are very close, especially there are massages nearby, super convenient, there are also Thai restaurants nearby, cheap and delicious, authentic, iced coffee made me forget. The female room I booked had no windows and was a bit depressing. The mixed room was much better. The next time I definitely decided to set up a mixed room, the overall feeling was very good. The public area was large and comfortable. It was suitable for chatting and meeting new people. The front desk is also very friendly and offers a lot of good advice.

Pro: Good location. Very very near to Sunday night market - near to Wat Prasighn. Cafe and massage shops , tour agency shop along the hotel road. Thus everything is walking distance. Comfortable room. Clean& comfy sheets, towels. Cons: Just swimming pool water abit dirty - felt like sea water (salty) and alot dirts at the bottom of the pool. Overall good stay.

We booked to stay in Momo hotel because of its central location in the heart of Chiang Mai old town. Convenient shop, café, local eateries, ATM machine, massage & shopping shop are just stone throw away. Tourist attraction such as Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh & Wat Phantao and most importantly the Sunday Night Market is just walking distance from the hotel! Besides, the pool in the hotel is just perfect to chill & relax after a long day exploring around the old city. On the other hand, downside would be the small lift & luggage storage area, squeaky bed (only for our room) and a bar/café corner that seems not operation. Overall it was a great stay and experience staying in Momo hotel.
