北横岳へ登った帰りに宿泊。ロープウェイ乗り場からホテルまでは車で5分ちょっと位。2時頃に到着したが3時までは入室出来ないルールのよう。敷地内の公園で小さな青空市？をやっていたので散策。古めのホテルの建物とは対照的にお庭は非常にキレイに管理されています。お庭から蓼科湖へ出られ、そこでも色々なお店が出ていて、こちらは大盛況(!)緊急事態宣言が解除され一挙に押しかけた観光客で一杯です(私です) チェックインで夕食時間が選べ6時or7時半なので迷わず6時で。某旅行サイトから安く取ったせいか、ほとんどの部屋が蓼科湖を向いているにもかかわらずなんと裏向きの部屋へアサイン。ロビーの屋根(汚い)ビュー。気を取り直すと山ビュー。部屋は広め。ユニットバスのシャワーカーテンがカビ臭いタイプ。さげ。ベッドも昔のスプリング。ま、お値段相応。 お風呂は男女入替制。この日だけなのかいつもなのかチェックイン日は女性が樽？のような朽ちた木桶の取って付けの露天風呂のタイプでこれは最、悪。内湯は普通。…と謎の配置でここにも例の木桶？樽？のトルマリン湯とレモン湯。これもいらない。要するに普通の内湯に大人しく入るのが正解。酸性泉。お湯は良い。翌朝はちゃんとした露天風呂の方に入れ替わり。こちらが正解の湯。昨夜のは幻。 夕飯はバイキング。バイキングって…と嘆いていたがお値段がアレなので『やむなし』と臨んだが、こちらは予想外に美味しい。見栄えのするものこそ無いが味付けや素材はちゃんとしている(お値段以上)アルコールは2000円で飲み放題あり。スタッフは外国の方が多く皆さん日本語が堪能で優秀な方ばかり。サービスもきちんとしていてアゲ。 朝食もバイキング。『朝カレーもあるんだぁ』などと感心していたら、お蕎麦にかけてカレー蕎麦にしている強者あり。今の常識なのか？美味しそう。ホテルの朝食として特筆するもの無いながら素材と味付け、サービスで良い朝。１つ難点を挙げるとすれば名物であろう寒天がイマイチ。これは某○○パパ？減点と言う程ではありません。 総評として、子連れレジャーなどにはお手軽で向いているかもしれません。庭園の小川などもとてもいいです。夏はプールもあり。対して大人独り旅とかにはちょっと厳しいかと。
