Facilities: The facilities are a bit old compared to the first time I went there, but it still does not affect the use. It is quite complete. There are two swimming pools, one is on the roof for taking photos, and the other one can be used for swimming, which is more comfortable. There is also a battery car to go to the nearby reservoir, but it was closed during the festival this time and could not be entered.
Sanitation: It is relatively clean. The hygiene of the room, bedding, bathroom and public areas is good.
Environment: The weather is relatively hot this time. Many places cannot be visited. It is too hot. Although there are still many green plants in the hotel, it is too hot. The air conditioning in the public area is still not cool enough.
Service: The housekeeper Yao Yao is very considerate. He added WeChat before checking in, helped prepare the bed guard, and turned on the air conditioning in the room in advance. I was worried after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! I didn't regret choosing this place.
Not only is there an elevator, which is very considerate, but the whole house is large, new and comfortable.
The children in the children's room are very happy.
The elderly are also very happy✊🏻 Making tea, singing karaoke, playing mahjong, and soaking in hot springs.
It's also close to eat outside, cheap and delicious❤️ It's also very convenient to order takeout, and I also bought barbecue ingredients🌹

After reading the previous reviews, there are mixed reviews.
The actual experience after checking in is completely different from that of a light luxury hotel. It is very, very grand. The hotel opened in 2019 and the design is very careful. The construction materials are very, very solid and high quality is reflected everywhere. The lobby, corridors and rooms are basically made of marble and mahogany. It feels like being in the Beijing Military Museum and the Great Hall of the People.
There are many rooms with various functions on both sides of the long corridor, which are well maintained.
At the same time, it can be seen that maintenance costs are high and difficult, and the occupancy rate is not high. Employees are actively working to help themselves, but the investment should be insufficient. After all, the monthly electricity bill is 10,000 yuan.
The Chinese restaurant bamboo products are good and the prices are reasonable.
I really like this old hotel and hope it gets better and better, otherwise it would be a shame.
Someone commented earlier that the soap was moldy. It must be the plants in the soap.

The manor is really great, the attractions are very beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and it is perfect for company team building meetings or family gatherings. Yang was very patient to guide us around the manor, taste various fruits, and wine cellars, and introduced the difference between sauce-flavored white wine and Luzhou-flavored white wine. Children like the infinity pool very much, and they are not willing to check out.

Reasons for recommendation
1⃣️Before closing the gate, the housekeeper put hot spring water in the room in advance, and it was really warm and considerate.
2⃣️The scenic spot has its own private barbecue and authentic kiln chicken, so you won’t be hungry at night.
3⃣️Multiple sets of kimonos for customers to try on, for both men and women.
4⃣️The single-story villa is private enough. Whether you are a family or a couple, you can wear swimsuits and towels to have a drink and chat in the yard (it is not recommended to be too noisy if it is too late)
5⃣️The room facilities are very new and clean, with a large area and equipped with a massage room.
6⃣️The hot spring is a real hot spring, it will be slippery after taking a dip
7⃣️Each room has a large basket of welcome fruits and several large bottles of mineral water, which is quite generous!

I was impressed by this stay at the hotel. From booking to check-in, the whole process was very smooth, making me feel the professionalism and caringness of the hotel.
As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I smelled the unique fragrance of the whole season. The staff at the front desk were enthusiastic and patiently answered my questions about the room and checked in for me. Their service made me feel at home.
The window of the room I stayed in had a good view, leaning on the riverside, the bed was soft and comfortable, making me sleep well all night. The bathroom facilities are also very complete and clean. In addition, the air conditioning and hot water supply in the room are very powerful, so that I can also enjoy the comfort of home during the trip.

TTom07There are not many Hotels which allow dogs! This is one, but there are many small restrictions. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurants or for breakfast. This is understandable on one side, but apart from a small kennel at the entrances there are no possibilities to accommodate the animals. With such a large hotel, you could easily set up a place for dogs outside where they can wait on a leash with some water and food.

AArqueroThis hotel, relation quality price, is a very good choice. The hotel is next to a small, a little bit aged shopping mall without much to do. The whole area has absolutely nothing to do or see. Forty minutes drive there is a seaside area, for that sake it may be interesting. It has an outdoor swimming pool, but it is full of kids and next to a pond, full of mosquitos, so be ready. The swimming pool is closed during the ”cold months”. It has a small gym too. The decoration and furniture of the room is exquisite as you can see on the pictures and very comfortable. Breakfast is just so so. A few Chinese dishes regularly cooked, and some cheap Chinese style breads and pastry. A few salad leaves and tea. Water melon and melon and some canned sugary fruits. That´s it. It is not terrible but I don't think it is worth the price. The best of this hotel is the quality of their staff. Extremely friendly, willing to help and smiling. Little or no English spoken. I was kindly welcome by Cherry and Zhaoli in the reception, both really nice, fast in dealing with formalities and they provide support beyond their duties. A five stars experience. Xiaomei, from the sales department, was very friendly and informative. Overall, probably the best hotel in this dull area.

SShenzhenFoodieOn the first day we arrived, we got a room that couldn't be locked and smelled like fish. The hotel changed our room to the 12th floor. The breakfast is standard local food. Not too many selections. There are McDonald's and other small restaurants nearby.
However, we had a bad experience with the cleaners. On the second day, We put the “do not disturb” sign because we don't want the cleaner to come that day. But they cleaned it anyway.
On the third day, I was sitting on the balcony, and my husband was in the toilet. Two cleaners came without knocking on the door or ringing the bell. I asked them to leave but they kept checking on things that needed to be cleaned. My husband was furious. The same day, we left the hotel.

GGuest UserI wanna share my experience of staying in Grand Barony Hotel. First I wanna say that I had a very big room on 27th floor and the view was great. I also liked that there was a tub in the bathroom and a large selection of food in the buffet on breakfast.
I wanna praise the hotel’s manager Andy. Andy was the only one from the staff who could speak a little English. He was very polite, added my WeChat since I checked in, and helped me a lot with problems I’ve got and answered any questions I had even during his day off. Even though there were some discomfort things Andy was always trying to compensate those and make my stay comfortable. I thank him cause otherwise my stay would be worse. He asked maid to bring some stuff that they haven’t gave before, to change not working hair dryer and etc. He also provided free breakfasts for me cause there was a problem with swimming pools. The only one was open but not all the time, it was often closed (they were saying cause of pandemic). I also faced the problem with hot water. I had to wait for 5 mins every time I wanted to have a shower to hot water comes. So Andy asked the master to come but master didn’t solve the problem. I didn’t wanna try if another room that might hasn’t have this problem cause it was inconvenient, I was already unpacked and didn’t wanna spend time on it cause they say may be its every room’s problem. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work either. Andy asked if master can come and fix it but i also didn’t wanna spend time on it. In the end of my trip Andy arranged the car to take me to the railway station.
During my stay there were not that many people and at times some stuff didn’t work, like lunch and dinner buffet, spa, pools and etc. Some nice places near the hotel were also closed. May be also cause there were not that many people.

GGuest UserThe hotel inside is much older than on the pictures but it was fine. When we booked in, we were given a different room than what we requested and paid for, but after assistance from the online staff at trip. com it was rectified.
Two major concerns were the lack of variety in restaurants and the facts that there are only two elevators for a fully booked hotel of 32 floors... We had to wait very, very long every time we wanted to go up or down for the elevator to reach us, and even then could often not use it because it was too full.
The only western restaurant (Loop) about 750m from the hotel offered very expensive drinks and was open only from 12:00. Also, some days we could only order salad there.. 🤔
When we had a parcel sent to us at the hotel, it was for some obscure reason (couriers are not allowed to deliver there..?!), sent to a store 3km from the hotel, and we had to pay 90RMB for someone from the hotel to fetch it there.. 🤔🙄
The last thing that was strange, was the advertisement inside the hotel for a western restaurant, but it was nowhere to be found. Signs pointed in the direction of the basement in Building 1 but we could not find it anywhere, and when we asked around, people were just shaking their heads..

The Sheraton welcomed us with a light-flooded lobby in traditional Asian architecture. A warm and relaxing impression.
Location：
The Sheraton is located between Xunliaowan (10min) and Shuangyuewan (30min), the two major tourist places on the peninsula. The hotel is located remotely, meaning no restaurants or supermarkets are close or outside the entrance. It shares the beach only with the Regal Resort, which is 1km down the beach. Therefore, its quiet and perfect for weekend-getaway from the busy city life.
Facilities:
The hotel offers 3-4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool, some remain closed/not in-use (hard to tell).
Food:
The hotel has a lobby bar which offers drinks and small snacks. We ordered a coffee there to be served at the pool, which was challenging and took some effort, but finally possible. (Chinese speaker)
The breakfast restaurant is located on groundfloor serving up to 10:30am. Apart from common Chinese dishes, I am interested in the continental food variety, here the hotel was offering very soft ”french style” baguette, 3 different types of cheese, and smoked duck breast as cold cut. Also, the hotel offered fresh salad buffet with a good variety including olives. For a 5 star hotel, I would expect fresh orange/fruit juice, which I could not find.
The hotel offers a BBQ restaurant/bar at the waterfront, so we tried Shaokao around 7pm. we chose a 298Y package for 2ppl. The food quality was very poor and we had to return all sausages and ask 4 dishes to be put back on the BBQ. Any street BBQ tastes way better. First we were told all drinks are included, later a can of beer cost CNY40, So we had to pay additional CNY120. Disappointing experience for a 5 star hotel.
Service:
Concierge welcomed our taxi and opened the door, but did not offered any help for our luggage. Check-In took almost 20minutes (excluding waiting time) which is long for a 5 star hotel. We were told to go to the room, however, there wasn't clear signage where to find the right elevator to our room.
Being at the pool, we tried to order drinks, as the hotel lobby is 10min away. It seems this customer wish is new to the hotel and we had to beg the hotel staff to find a solution for us. For a 5star hotel, I do expect being able to order/buy drinks/water at the pool area.
The sunbeds at the pool needed cushions which are quite heavy and were located in a hidden area. (Hard to find for guests, so most guest just used their room towels on the hard benches). I would have wish that there is staff guiding/helping on that task.
The F&B staff seems not well trained and supervised. Unfinished drinks have been thrown on the ground in the outdoor areas, food waste has been put in little plastic bags and clients tissues were used to clean tables and get them ready for next customers.
We had to ask staff proactively to clean our table of used plates and bowls.

PPat YUpon arriving, I was greeted by very friendly staffs in the lobby. They helped us with golf bags and luggage and spoke very limited English. We asked for their names and they seemed do not understand English. Nevertheless, they have a big smile and extremely friendly and courteous. It was a very busy hotel lobby and it seems that there is a tournament going on. We were then greeted by a very presentable lady called Fiona. She spoke very limited English but her body gesture gave way that she is extremely pleasant. She proudly described that there is a tournament going on which is one of the over 300 tournaments they host every year. It is a very popular place for golf tournament.
Fiona escorted us to the front desk for our check in which was very smooth. Once again, the front desk staff was extremely friendly. Fiona then droves us to our room in a look-like Rolls Royce replica, my wife loves it as it was the closest to the real thing that we had ever dreamed of.
To cut the story short, our short stay was fantastic. The golf course was very good and the staff were extremely nice. The restaurant was small but cozy. We enjoyed the mini vacation very much and unreservedly recommend it to anyone who wants a mini golf vacation in China.
