Baymont by Wyndham Columbus
4.1/596 Reviews
High Ratings must have been written by the staff for sure. Rooms have awful lighting - and they use those ‘day light’ white bulbs everywhere, even in the bathroom! It is so bad - not sure how the manager would not know that this lighting is not what should be in a hotel. It makes you feel like you are in the underground NYC subway, not in a hotel room. The bathroom is so dark, and you have this one white daylight bulb overhead - its beyond bad. Bathroom floor was not clean, very sticky (someone previously must have spilled something on it, so my slippers kept sticking). Bed is not the best. Pillows are quite old you can tell, and have been overstuffed (not soft). Parking lot is weird - some spots are under the building, others spots are on an incline/decline - its really bad, and the front entrance doesn’t appear/seem like a normal hotel front entrance. No pull up to the front entrance (its a fire lane) and the front is not covered. It feels like some type of office building not a hotel. Overall I would rate this hotel a 5-6, definitely not higher.
