First, the building is very old. Built in 1802, and probably hasn't been refurbished since then. (I can't remember the last time I saw a radiator used for heat!) The floor sloped downward toward the door, so that at times I thought i was going to tip over. Years ago I would have considered it all very charming, but as I get older the charm wears off. Biggest issue - no breakfast. The listing calls out free breakfast. I was told rather emphatically, as if I were mentally deficient, that the restaurant opened at 12:00 noon for lunch and dinner. Trip Adviser should fix that in the listing. On the plus side, the location is great. You can walk to everything in town. And very quiet. But I think on my next trip to Cooperstown I'll try someplace else.
