Absolute gem of a B&B. Set in beautiful gardens and fabulous surroundings. The accommodation was comfortable and spotless. Our hosts Noreen and Joe were delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. The breakfast was beautiful and the attention to detail was exemplary. Cannot recommend this highly enough and would happily go back!

Our recent stay at Kilcatten Lodge was memorable – from the moment, we arrived. Warm welcome from Noreen, our hostess, and what a beautiful place – in every way! So well set up, beautiful rooms with modern, tasteful decor, every single thing we needed, and the freshly cooked, generous breakfasts were wonderful! We really enjoyed our chats with Noreen and Joe, and would recommend this place to everybody! Thanks for your hospitality – you can be very proud of what you have created! Was a gorgeous day so we went out in the amazing gardens . What a beautiful setting & so well kept . I travelled with my guide dog Zita & she was made so welcome by Noreen & Joe & their fab dog Luna .All areas were so accessible . The rooms were spotless as was everywhere at B&B. Lovely quiet B&B with very friendly and helpful hostess Noreen. Beautiful and carefully decorated rooms, fully equipped. Wonderful base for the Wild Atlantic Way. But you can also relax in the beautifully arranged garden. Thank you Noreen for your good care.

We were very happy to have landed at Noreen's and Joe's place as our first landing spot in Ireland. Noreen and Joe were extremely welcoming and made sure our stay was a great success. The choices for breakfast were plentiful and tasty. We can highly recommend this place. Besides our room we had the use of a common room as well and there is plenty of outdoor space if the weather is cooperating.

Nice big room, lovely property, nice owners. Very rural, remote location, gotten to on very narrow roads so coming and going is slow. Owner asks you to pre-order breakfast at a set time, which we did not like doing. But the bed was a real negative. Mattress was quite uncomfortable as you could feel the springs. The closest village was completely closed on Monday when we arrived. We had to drive further to Clonkilty for lunch. Only one place open for dinner in Timoleague.

This lovely BandB is above and beyond. Treat yourself and stay here. It is modern, clean, and Noreen is an awesome hostess. Her breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a few days to collect yourself on your fast paced tour this is the place to do it. Highly recommend!
