H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens
4.2/555 Reviews
I have stayed at many H10 Hotels over the years and would have expected similar quality it being a 4 star hotel. The dining experience is not good, guests are required to queue to get into restaurant even though everyone is B&B. The offering is not 4*H10 quality. At breakfast fruit is mostly from tinned or frozen sources. Apart from fresh eggs the rest of hot breakfast very unappealing. Lunch consists of mainly leftovers from night before blended with mayo or oils to hide the fact it is old. Dinner is is a mixed bag with lukewarm slop. Could/should be much better. Bed in family suite is a good size. The beds are not great quality. 2 singles pushed together in bedroom. Other than that nice hotel that could be better for prices it charges.

Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

Just back from an amazingly relaxing week staying at the Oasis Lanz. From the moment my daughter and I arrived to the moment we left, we were able to totally relax in the beautiful, clean and classy surroundings. Everything felt so easy, like the hotel had thought of all our needs and provided them without us having to ask. The room was huge, clean, comfy bed, lovely big balcony with handy clothing rack for drying wet clothes, fridge, safe, TV etc. Everything worked and was in great condition. Room was made up daily, fresh towels etc and felt like new coming back after the cleaners had been in. Breakfast was superb, plenty of tables, no waiting to be seated. Very chilled vibe, lots of choices and everything I sampled was delicious from cooked breakfast to freshly made pancakes. We spent a lot of time at the pool nearest our room and loved it. Clean, perfect temperature, loads of loungers and the poolside bar for refreshments! On the odd occasion we needed something (taxi booked to airport/somewhere to leave bags after check out/ grab a shower before leaving) the staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful. Location wise it's perfect, so close to both beaches, restaurants and shops. Thanks for a great stay and hope to get back.
Barcelo Hotel Teguise Beach - Adults Only

Nice looking hotel with a friendly welcome when we checked in. The Room We had booked a sea view, hot tub room. After reading peoples reviews I sent an email before we traveled asking about sun on the balcony. I was told sun is on the balcony for half the day and we accepted this. This was not true and the balcony did not get any sun. The hot tub is more like a bath and you are overlooked by street passers by. Certainly not worth the money and only used once. The bath took around 45 mins to fill up which is hardly positive for the environment. Tip - room only sea view with open roof balcony. All inclusive? At check in offered all inclusive for €59 each per day. We declined and the best decision we ever made. The hotel is perfectly located and you have a huge range of bars, restaurants and shops on our doorstep. The average large beer cost is between €2\3 and a good quality steak €17 Tip - 100% not Restaurant Nightmare. Total lack of staff full stop. Breakfast. Wacky races. 1. Fight your way into the seating area. 2. Find a table that is not piled high of dirty dishes. 3. Find staff to locate cutlery and a cup for coffee and glass for juice. 4. Only 2 coffee points so wait in a long line then read instructions to work the machine after a time give up and use the filtered coffee next to the machine. 5. Enter the food area and join another long line of grumpy people waiting for the single member of staff servicing eggs, omelettes and pancakes. Very narrow area that also houses bread. 6. Return to table stressed then listen to death row music over and over again. Dinner. Much the same with rather bland similar food each day. Still searching for a table, then hunt down service for cutlery, and drinks. We complained most days as it was simply terrible and very stressful. We got an hour in the spa area which does not cut it. We stopped going as we started and ended the day stressed. Pool areas Very nice. No issues. You can however see the same people reserving a bed at 7am! Seriously they had no shortage. No one to stop them and insufficient staff in any case. Location 10/10. So very central So in short. Nice hotel but major issues that need to be resolved. We go away to relax and this whole situation was wholly unacceptable

We stayed here in February 2024, we arrived around 7pm and first impressions of the hotel wasn’t brilliant there is a lot of lighting that is not working and to be honest looked like it was shut. The reception is quite big but very dull and looks like it needs a paint. Reception staff are very nice and gave us good directions to our room. We stayed in a junior suite which I would definitely recommend as it was huge with so much space for storage. The rooms are kept immaculate by the cleaners who were brilliant and very friendly. In the room there is a queen size bed a pull out sofa bed and a camp bed so perfect for a family of 4. There was a large round bath in the bedroom too which was a hit with the kids as they could lay in the bath and watch the tv. We had a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony and was a treat to wake up too. There is also a shower toilet and sink in the bathroom. The walk in wardrobe was good as we had plenty of storage space and enough rails to hang all 4 people’s clothes. There is a small fridge in the room but you can’t fit too much in there. The room was lovely but could do with a little freshen up maybe something a bit more modern. Unfortunately that’s the only positive I can say about the hotel we was very disappointed with the pool area as sun loungers are chained up until 10am and it’s a mad rush to get a space in a good location there is a lot of trees around which blocks the sun from some places for most of the day. The pool is absolutely freezing my children couldn’t be in there for more than 10 minutes. At the pool bar you pay a euro per cup as a deposit and they give you a clean cup each time which is a good idea as there isn’t loads of cups laying about. Some of the staff behind the pool bar are ok but some are very rude. There is however a lot of wasted space at this hotel they have a big square with palm tree in that serve no purpose and could be removed to make more space for another pool / sunbathing area as it’s in a location that gets the sun all day. The restaurant is terrible we found ourselves eating out every day and night which is not ideal. We booked all inclusive and only used the restaurant twice during our stay as we found the food revolting. There is a very small selection and what is on offer we food to be dry, bland and mostly over cooked cheap products. Entertainment was so poor for both adults and children if your not into watching drunks argue and sing karaoke this is not the place for you kids club was basically non existent we was asked once if we wanted to do archery and when we asked where it was the lady basically run away. Music during the day is a continuous loop of about 5 songs which does become quite irritating after the 10th time of hearing it. The venue for evening entertainment is in a tiny little room with not enough seats so unless you get there early you will find yourself standing up with a drink waiting to rush to a chair if one becomes available. Very similar to a large hostel with good bungalows (with a kitchenette, kettle, microwave) many children, many small pools on the territory There is a shop on site (prices are above average), a cafe where you can buy breakfast / dinner The disadvantage is that there is no access to the sea-ocean, as such. (there is a certain bay on the territory, more like a paddling pool) To swim you need to go along the promenade along the sea to the beach
