La Posada del Viajero

AMAZING!!! Only a few blocks from The main Plaza de Armas is a hidden gem with the most amazing staff, cozy rooms, and a great vibe . It's not always easy to find great customer service when traveling but the staff at La Posada del Viajero were the best by FAR! From such kind smiles at breakfast in the morning before being whisked off on a magical tour to the warm welcome upon the tiresome return in the afternoon. The staff were always on point with any needs, requests, or a simple recommendation. We would get such a wonderful rest in the rustic yet warm rooms. Of course, there was plenty of hot water for all of the guests in our group and the wi-fi fully aided any work to be done and much easier. There were heaters in the rooms if needed, but the blankets were also very comfortable and warm. Also, The breakfast nook had such beautiful views of the mountains. Just so majestic. So many reasons to come back again. I can't thank your hotel staff enough. Again, most amazing customer service in all of Cusco. A big THANK YOU to Kenia, Sully, Jaseny, Ruth, Naira, Dabne, and Iris for making my Father's birthday so magical. Such a wonderful team, such a wonderful hotel.

We have stayed for 5 nights and it’s been a great experience. The service is amazing and the staff super friendly and resourceful. I highly recommend La Posada del Viajero as the place to stay while visiting Cusco and the vicinity. Thanks for everything!!

This hostel was the best we’ve stayed at in South America. Spent 6 nights there and it’s been an amazing place to prepare and recover from the Inca trail hike. Every single one of the staff are phenomenal. Yaseni, Pamela, Ruth and Sully have been so friendly, helpful and make the hostel what it is. They speak great English and have gone out of their way to help us with printing and computer needs, bag storage, restaurant recommendations and more. Our private room was like a quality hotel with heater, coffee/tea making facilities, tv, storage cupboards. Room was also cleaned everyday. Breakfast everyday was amazing with fresh fruit, ham & eggs, breads, cereal etc… all with a beautiful view to the mountains. Nice common areas, kitchen, filtered water, coca tea. Central location, but not noisy. What more can I say, just stay here, 10/10

This is a lovely little guesthouse / hotel tucked away in a quiet alley, near the main square in Cusco. The location is excellent and the place was really clean and well taken care of. We used their luggage storage service and had a great experience. Suly at the front desk took excellent care of our things and was very sweet with the whole process. Highly recommend!

They take great care of you here. Look no further. Go ahead and book with them. The host team, Miguel & Antonella are incredible and so caring about your experience here in Cusco. The location is great, right off the main square and every tour that you plan to go on comes directly to you hotel to come pick you up.

Comfortable rooms with great water pressure, central but quiet location, very friendly staff & lovely sitting area with various tea and water - would def return

This is a great hostel that feels more like a hotel; we had a clean private room with its own restroom, housekeeping while we were out, fantastic complimentary breakfast and an unbeatable location. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet hostel in a superb location with the friendliest staff ever! They made us feel so welcome, stored luggage for us whilst on 2 treks as well as let us check in early without fee! They also offer a delicious breakfast, plenty of seating areas and space to store/make your own food. We only wished we could have spent more time in Cusco with them ☺️ would reccomend to all
