As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the housekeeper Xiaolong introduced me to local food and fun bars. His warm and thoughtful service took care of our various needs. This is my first time to visit Dali, and I am really happy. Especially I booked the Romantic Garden Room of this hotel, which is really beautiful! The main reason is that it is too close to Erhai Lake. Our room should be the closest to the water in Shuanglang. It is a very pleasant hotel. The store manager Xiaolong is very nice. The swing on the first floor and the large terrace on the top floor are super photogenic. You can watch the sunset over Erhai Lake and have afternoon tea in the rooftop room in the afternoon. This stay was very comfortable. It was very healing to bask in the sun with my girlfriend every day. The housekeeper is very talkative and friendly! I sincerely recommend it to friends who want to come to Dali and have the opportunity to stay in Shuanglang~ A staff member took the initiative to contact us one day in advance, asked about our itinerary and planned arrival time on the day of check-in, added WeChat, and sent us the nearest parking location to pick us up when we are about to arrive. Let me tell you why this hotel makes us feel that the trip is worthwhile! We arrived in Shuanglang around 6pm. The hotel manager, Xiaolong, came to pick us up. He carried our luggage and introduced us to the basic situation of Shuanglang Ancient Town. When we arrived at the hotel, since it was not the peak season, some of the better rooms were not fully occupied. Xiaolong directly proposed to upgrade the room type for us and took us to see the available rooms. In the end, we chose the sea view terrace king room (more than 500 more expensive than our original room)~ The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The drinks and beer in the refrigerator were free to drink. The terrace had a wide view, with Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake in full view! A real frontal full sea view room! Although we arrived late, the hotel still prepared exquisite afternoon tea and welcome fruits for us. Xiaolong was very attentive. He recommended various Shuanglang delicacies to me on WeChat and made an appointment for us to take free photos at the hotel at 18:40 (clothing was provided free of charge). After a simple tidy up, we began to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the hotel. The photographer took us to the swing on the first floor and the observation deck on the third floor for more than 20 minutes. We also took pictures on the terrace and waterside of the room while enjoying the sunset of Erhai Lake. The sunset shone on the water and the sea of ​​clouds. It was so beautiful! ! After visiting the ancient town in the evening, I returned to the room and took a bath in the bathtub on the terrace. It was comfortable to blow the sea breeze~ The next morning, I slept until I woke up naturally. I could eat breakfast while watching the scenery by the water. After eating, I went back to the room and continued to lie on the sofa on the terrace to relax. I didn’t want to do anything~ Due to the tight time, we had to go to the passenger center at noon to take a bus to Lijiang~After checking out, the hotel also thoughtfully prepared souvenirs for us~Xiaolong helped us deliver our luggage to the passenger station, and ended this Shuanglang trip~ Many things done by the hotel made us feel very attentive. Every time we went out, they would ask us if we needed to bring the hotel’s shawls, umbrellas, etc. We got sunburned during the day, and the hotel provided us with a large box of aloe vera cream, which was very generous. In short, this stay was very satisfying. If I come to Dali again in the future, I think I will definitely choose this place again and stay a few more nights to experience the slow pace of life in Dali.
