Very distinctive. The hotel is in a Chinese herbal culture theme park. I saw that there is also the Liaoning Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the park, as well as Baicao Garden. The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is very nice. There are many restaurants and banks, subway stations, and traditional markets. Hotel staffs are kind but they can't speak English or other languages. What a wonderful place. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The pool was a nice size (my kids love swimming) and the gym wasn't too badly equipped. The family room was awesome. The kids beds where a little bit hard but not the worst. There is a McDonald's and Burger King close by and you are not too far from Russian Street. The only thing they don't have is free parking. All and all very satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future.

Overall it's good, a bit old, but clean and well-maintained, service is good. Breakfast is average. The only downside is that it's quite noisy. When eating breakfast, a group of old ladies were very loud, and the doors in the corridors were often not closed, making quite a lot of noise. There's nothing we can do, it's the tourist season in Dalian, and there are many group tourists.
