Mountain View Country Inn

We were allocated Room 1, parking directly in front. Spacious, clean, basic but comfortable amenities, kitchen utensils supplied and with extras available from Reception if needed. Very friendly welcome from energetic owner. Great value tariff. As we arrived early, we were able to leave our luggage in the room and head the couple of km into town and enjoy a snack, view some of the local attractions and let my wife have some shopping therapy. Definitely recommend a mountain view room.
Blakes Manor Self Contained Heritage Accommodation

Sold on the Tripadvisor photographs of this delightful cottage, we were not disappointed. Looking for a romantic stay we chose Blakes Cottage at Blakes Manor, Deloraine. The luxurious, red velvet curtains draped across the entrance to the bedroom creates a delightful romantic ambience. Tastefully and authentically furnished you truly feel you have stepped back in time. Warmly greeted by owners Georgia and Peter with a freshly baked loaf of bread, we were also indulged with provisions for a bacon and egg breakfast, cereals, orange juice, teas and ground coffee. Oh, and a decanter of fine port, with accompanying chocolates, were waiting on a side table :) The bed was beautiful with fine quality linen - the mattress was a tiny bit firm for me but that’s personal taste. We loved it and will return. Highly recommended. Book direct with the owners for a better deal :)
Deloraine Hotel
4/548 Reviews
I recently stayed at the Deloraine Hotel due to an incident in the Devonport CBD, which led me to find accommodation in the area. This hotel offered very affordable rates. I booked a room for one person on the same day, and although the facilities weren't the newest, they were well-maintained and clean. The shared bathroom was particularly tidy and spacious. The kitchen area was also quite nice, providing an opportunity to greet and chat with other guests. The only downside was some noise at night, possibly due to trains passing nearby. Overall, the quality and service were well worth the price.
