Coming from a first-time female solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than this hotel. Location — You can’t beat the location for both walking and taking public transport. It’s also next door to a grocery store called Julius Meinl, which adds a whole other layer of convenience. The area is safe at all hours of the day. Although the crowded city center is right outside the door, the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet, and I never heard any of the outside noise from my room. Staff — The staff was extremely friendly, the front desk felt like a safe space where I could ask questions and they were happy to answer them and provide any resources or help I needed. I arrived before check-in time and expected to just leave my luggage with the front desk, but the staff checked and let me know my room was ready and treated it like it was no inconvenience for me to check in early. Amenities — Housekeeping leaves a fresh jug of water in your room each day, and there was an included buffet-style continental breakfast each morning. The breakfast was my favorite part, as there was always a large assortment of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, jams, spreads, you name it. There is also a high tech coffee machine that will make any drink you want in seconds. The wifi was fast and reliable, and the air conditioning was so good I had to turn it down at some points. Bathroom was well stocked with full size shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion, towels, tp, tissues, etc. I really couldn’t come up with a shortcoming or complaint about this hotel if I tried. I’d highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Vienna, but especially if it’s your first time traveling alone and want to stay somewhere friendly, calm and close to everything.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 4 nights in January so the outdoor weather was cold. What we liked: a very easy and friendly check-in. We arrived early in the morning and they stored our luggage until after 3. We came back showed them the luggage claim and the bellman took us up to the room, smooth and easy. The room was not large but not small either with two chairs for sitting very classical style furniture in a very clean room. The room had a wardrobe with safe, large comfortable bed and good pillows. The room was warm on nights that the temp was near freezing. The bathroom had ample towels and other toiletries. The water from the faucet was safe to drink, no odor or chemical smell. We drank it frequently. The hotel is in a well maintained older building. The breakfast was good. Several hot items from eggs and sausage, cold items like meats cheeses, a variety of salads and spreads, yogurts, breads, cakes, and cereals. Carafes of hot coffee brought to the table. The location was great within 3 minutes of St. Stephen's Cathedral and with about 10 in all directions of things on the outer edge of the old central city. About a 5 minute walk to the Sisi museum and Hof. The area was safe with much shopping around it and tourist and photography attractions. They gave us a late checkout so we could attend mass with Vienna Boys' Choir then held our luggage and called for a cab to take us to an airport hotel for an early morning flight. Very friendly staff from start to finish. What we didn't like: Very little to complain about really. The outside street was a bit loud during the early night because of a bar across the alley. The noise did not get out of hand or unbearable. There is no water kettle in the room and you have to pay for the coffee maker. The breakfast hostess/server was a bit pushy and kept correcting my wife's behavior for asking for an extra napkin or needing to use an extra spoon. She however would smile at me when I would get up and get the things for my wife. I did not like having to carry a hotel key around while touring. I kept worrying about its loss or thefts. Non of these things spoiled a wonderful trip to beautiful Vienna. We would stay here again. It was a pleasant experience and the hotel staff was always pleasant and helpful.

There is a room with a six-story sloping roof. If you mind that the shading effect is not ideal in the morning and you cannot sleep well, don't choose it. The overall feeling of the hotel is very good, with a strong sense of design, the environment of the breakfast restaurant is very good, I also tried it for dinner, and it is a good product. Through communication, the hotel changed the room type the next day, with full blackout curtains, which completely solved the problem of affecting sleep. The overall service is also good. The location is very convenient. Just near the church and pedestrian street. Very easy to walk to different sights.

The location of the hotel is great, as it’s walking distance to a lot of Viennas most visited sites and also a close distance from the subway, which can take you further out from the city centre. The room was also good, although a bit small, but no real complaint, just an observation. What brings this hotel down is the breakfast. There’s nothing done right in there. The coffee is bad (which I don’t get, because they have a fancy espresso machine up front, but they get the coffee from the back?!), the scrambled eggs are bad, the juice is bad… Everything just feels cheap and without any thought. With a better breakfast, this would be a really really good hotel. A bit of a shame.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was in order and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. One standout feature of this hotel was the complimentary mini bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only was it stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, but also that I had the option to customize the items according to my personal preferences. This level of flexibility and attention to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was another highlight of my stay. They were genuinely warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, especially the Austrian breakfast offered. The variety of dishes, including traditional Austrian favorites, was a treat. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

Radisson Blu Style Hotel Vienna

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Style Hotel for two nights. My room was upgraded to a premium room which was very spacious and comfortable. The walk in rain shower was brilliant. My friend was booked into a superior room. The aircond was faulty in his first room but Mr Boltabaev at reception quickly organised another room where the aircond was functioning. Mr Boltabaev was efficient and outstanding with helpful and friendly responses to questions and the staff in the bar/restaurant were also helpful and efficient. Our rooms were comfortable and well equipped and effective aircond was especially welcome in 36+ degree temperatures. The Radisson is well situated especially for the Hofburg and Spanish Riding School and a short walk from the major pedestrianised precinct.
