Good front desk service, poor breakfast service! I have been to Germany on business several times, and I have never seen such a waiter. I would video with my family in the morning. I used headphones and talked for a while. A male waiter nodded my arm and called me quiet! Because I am alone and abroad, I don't want to have any security risks. I endured it and hung up the video. By the way, the restaurant is not very big. The top few foreigners diagonally across from me are also talking, and I can hear them. Two people at the table next to me are also talking. My voice is about the same height as theirs. I am a Chinese, so call me quiet? Really the first time I met! Stayed for two nights, I didn't eat breakfast here the next day, really a very poor waiter. Of course most of the foreigners I met are still very friendly!

Excellent city hotel in perfect proximity to the city center, the train station and the German Football Museum! Beautiful, comfortably furnished lobby and bar. Exceptional, wonderful, varied breakfast until 12:00 p.m.! Everything your heart desires is available here! Very friendly, helpful staff. Very nice, clean and well-equipped rooms. Absolutely a feel-good hotel. We can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience and were able to spend a wonderful weekend in Dortmund here as a family (2 adults + 1 child)! We would love to come back. Keep it up!

Can't complain. Friendly staff, central location and a clean and tidy room. As status members we also got our free welcome drink. The shower gel in our room was empty, but instantly replaced when we asked for it at the reception. As the price was cheap, the value was good.

Stayed here for three nights to visit Dortmund for the first time. Hotel has a great location in the middle of the city, close to the train station, and underground parking is a big plus. Had a nice street view from my room on the 5th floor. Rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, but maybe a bit too expensive. Would definitely come back here on my next trip to Dortmund.

Due to the pleasant experience of an IntercityHotel, we have chosen the IntercityHotel Dortmund for our bike tours around Dortmund, especially since this was also a price-friendly framework. The location is of course unslaughterable - only about 200m from the main railway station and about 300m from the metro ”Campstraße” directly in the pedestrian zone of Dortmund. With the free ÖPNV ticket from the hotel you can unlimitedly use all the ÖPNV transportation free of charge use and your own car can stay comfortable on the hotel parking. Even bicycles can be stored on your own bicycle parking sites. Very pre-eminent and helpful hotel staff. A good meeting hotel with the various conference rooms. The room was bright and friendly and above all generous designed. Since our room went to the back of the hotel, no noise from outside was heard even in open windows. The breakfast was ok - there was nothing that was not. Toy, cooked egg, sauce, S*****en, marmelade, yoghurt, musli, etc. That was tasty, but we had it in other hotels that were cheaper, much better. The only thing to defect was that was a little deficient housekeeping (it was not done twice the room) and the modgful room air after the air conditioning operation - especially as the window was only opened a small column and only on kipp (We were in another hotel on weekend and had a room in the 10th floor and the windows were completely opened ...) Because the IntercityHotel Dortmund is still very new (it was called opening to East 2022) I will describe this as ”children's diseases” and trust the hotel management to get it in hand. We will not be the last time in DO as fans of the Black Yellows ;-)

Hotel adres listed is different then the actual Hotel reception! The Hotel is situated in the very center, with plenty of parking options. They have 2 buildings, after i figured out where the reception was. I eas able to check in and get room #209 a spacious room, without AC. Two big windows towards a side street from the high street shopping area. The staff was friendly and after asking for AC they offered to put a fan in my room, which was necessary due to the very warm weather. I did enjoy the breakfast with savory and sweet option to choose from. I liked the stay very much that i booked for Hannover too in the weekend.

Dear readers, as unsatisfactory guest, I would like to share my experience in this hotel. First of all, I must say that the central location of the hotel is positive. I also liked the impressive hall of red marble in the eastern style. My room on the 5th floor was pleasantly large and offered a good view of the city. Unfortunately, this is the hotel at the crossing of two main roads. This means that the traffic around the clock is very strong and especially at night when the Poser scene tries her PS-stark cars, I was always wake up at night. Also the equipment is simple and has come into the years. The garden fell to me immediately when hearing, because the holder was defect and it was no longer fitted. The very bright room was also a big problem because I could hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. The breakfast was a great disappointment, as low-quality goods were used, the cheapest available on the market. All in all, this was the last time I stayed in this hotel. On the second day I went to a bakery in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't make a recommendation for this hotel and advise potential guests to look after a better option. Let's start with the positive things: The breakfast, not exceptional but OK, deserves 3 to 4 points. And the night was quiet too, despite the room facing the main road. What didn't we like? A lot. The hotel's accessibility by phone varies from catastrophic to impossible. On the first day I gave up after about 30 minutes in frustration, on the second day I had an employee on the line after about 30 minutes who didn't understand German. Fortunately, he was able to get someone who seemed to understand my request. The staff is very nice, but completely incompetent, from the reception to the bartender, who mixed the worst Caipirinha of my life. The room is spartanly furnished, but OK, you can live with that. I don't like the carpet at all. What I really didn't like was the small bed. Based on my study of the website, I had already indicated beforehand and when checking in that we wanted a large bed or two single beds. We were always told that there was no problem after the request had been understood...or after we thought it had been understood. But it was not meant to be...My wife then stopped me from going to reception again, with the result that I slept terribly.

We spent about 2 weeks here during a family visit. It's a fairly new hotel with a few kinks. Let me start with the positives. Staff are great, no exception. The included breakfast is great, but after 2 weeks with zero variation, it began to wear thin. The espresso maker is available to guests at no extra charge all day, which is plain fabulous. There's a serious issue with the hotel parking. They have a *very* limited number of parking bays, so you never know, when you return, whether there's space for you. There's plenty of other parking in the vicinity, but if you don't know your way around town, it's an issue. Many guests simply leave their cars in the no parking zone adjacent to the hotel. Not sure whether there's a deal with the city ticketing people, but I don't think anyone ever got a ticket in the two weeks that we spent there. You do so at your own risk, obviously, We went through various rooms because the air conditioning didn't work (and it wasn't even summer). I don't want to know what this would look like when it's actually hot. Frightening. It took their staff days to figure out what the problem is (after initially denying that there was a problem to begin with). Not great. WiFi worked great, in the room and the lobby, which has plenty of seating in case you prefer a workspace that's not in your room. There's a small, but decently equipped, gym for hotel guests. The room is what you'd expect of a Residence Inn, spacious, fridge, microwave. The cleaners did a pretty good job maintaining it on a daily basis, there's none of the corner cutting you'd find in other hotels on multi-day stays. Very grateful for that effort. This definitely works as a longer-stay property, just beware of regular soccer events in the city, the guest crowd shifts from business people to soccer fans (with no negative impact, I should add, everyone was at their best behaviours). I would return without hesitation.

We had recently booked a room at the Hotel Dortmund; the location is perfect for a visit (also walking) to the Dortmunder Stadium or the city centre. The hotel is located in the very quiet area of the technology center and far from noisy transit routes. The nights were very pleasant and relaxing. Because we are in the zoliakie area, our choice fell on this hotel – because we had a very nice e-mail traffic with competent contacts who knew well about this topic and the possibility of a gluten-free stay promised. This was then allowed us at our visit without problems. Breakfast buffet is generally gluten-free except for a few exceptions and the breads/breads are backed separately. The hotel is a very good location for the hotel.
