My partner and I arrived late after a flight to Edinburgh airport and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff in the nightshift. The whole hotel looked freshly decorated with new fixtures and fittings, all of which seemed of a very high quality. Our room (room 4) was wonderfully appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served very quickly. For what we paid this hotel is worth a 10/10 any day!!

Everything is good, spacious and clean, but the location is a bit far from the city. It costs 6.5 pounds per person per day to take the yellow bus to Prince Street. Since I brought my children with me, I needed to buy breakfast separately, which cost 12 pounds per meal. It is far worse than Chinese breakfast, with few varieties and unpalatable, which is consistent with the characteristics of British food being unpalatable

The staff are excellent, very friendly and ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms in the hotel need updating; I would not choose to stay at the hotel again due to the rooms being quite basic for a 4*, and no safe in the room either.
The restaurant area is nice. The bar area could do with an open fire, which would be in keeping with the property and, due to the bar's location can be quite cool.
I found the lockers difficult to use; there are no instructions when trying to use them, only in the reception area. I did ask someone to show me, but they were too busy apparently, so I asked another customer to help me.
There was no concession for late checkout on New Year's Day; however, upon request, this was granted. You also have to book for breakfast; therefore, on New Year's Day, I had to get up for 9 am to go down to breakfast, which was not ideal.
I had paid for the trip online when I booked; however, when I came to checkout, I was charged the full amount again and was informed that there was no log that I had already paid, but when we arrived and checked in, it was acknowledged that I had paid, it was a good job that I had the email displaying that I had paid. Upon further investigation by the hotel, it was noted that I had paid.
I thought that I had read somewhere that there was an option for a set menu for NYE, but al a carte was still an option however this was not the case. The food was ok.
The stay was made better due to the friendliness of the bar and restaurant staff, all credit to them.

What a gem of a hotel and restaurant! We stayed here the night before we left Scotland. We lucked up with this one! We stayed in room 15. It had a lovely view of the Firth of Fourth and the bridges. When we arrived, we went to the restaurant for a late lunch. There were not any tables available with a water view. After ordering our drinks, a table opened with a water view. The hostess asked us if we wanted to move to the table with a view of the water. It was a wonderful meal and awesome views. South Queensferry is a lovely town. Our room was very comfortable. Highly recommend it. It was an easy 20 minute ride to the airport.

A lovely building and entrance, including a lovely garden and fountain. Very clean and classy, reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, so modern and clean with plenty of floor space and storage. Big smart tv, hair dryer, iron and board, free mini toiletries, tea/coffee, full length mirror…couldn’t have asked for more at such a reasonable price for the room! Only thing was the room felt extremely hot when I first checked in (even though radiator was not on). I asked at reception if I could have a fan as windows barely open and a few minutes later it was brought to my room! Restaurant and bar great, breakfast lovely…highly recommend this hotel

Stayed for three nights while attending Comic Con at the royal highland centre which is conveniently just next door. Check in and out was no problem. The room was nice and clean and housekeeping refreshed it daily. As a housekeeper for a hotel myself i definitely appreciate the good job they did so thank you to them it's nice not having to be the one cleaning it for once. If i had one small complaint it would be that the water in the shower doesn't go very hot and i definitely like a hot shower. Apart from that it was lovely. Food wise i only had breakfast each day as i was away during the day but the breakfast was a good selection and everything was fresh. Overall it was a good stay and i would stay again if an event is held near there that i'm going to. Hopefully the housekeeping got the cakes that i left in the room, i didn't want to squash them in my bag and they were too expensive and fancy just to throw away (bought them at the event). Thanks for the comfortable stay!

We've stayed here several times especially if we have early check-in or late return at airport. It is a few minutes walk to the terminal.
It has reasonable charge for parking. Check-in/out is simple. Staff are always busy but helpful & efficient. Bar/food area has a good vibe with simple menu which covers most tastes.
Rooms are always clean.

Very Good
GGuest UserMy friend and I stayed one night, on our way further up north from England, and were quite pleased with the accommodation standards. The rooms had exactly what we needed with a nice shower and bed. The location was satisfactory given we were only staying one night, but there did not seem to be much to do in that area throughout the day if we were to stay longer. Breakfast was great and the service was incredible. Overall, fantastic stay.
GGuest UserGood and delicious full breakfast. Wonderful service, the hotel staffs are nice and helpful. We have hired a car Skoda which we are not quite familiar with. We ask the hotel officer for help to tune the rear mirror. Even they are also have no idea of this car, they try the best to find out the way. Thank you for their kind help and great effort 👍👍👍
Cccruickshank24Food was great, staff was brilliant, can’t wait to go back, was my first time here, credit to the team behind the scene, (chefs), good to have this local, outdoor area looks good aswell, heard mixed reviews about this place, defo great place to try sith family or friends.
Spent a Friday night here at the end of July. The hotel is right in the centre of Dunfermline so very convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. There were plenty of car parking spaces at the back of the hotel (pay and display - you can't pay by card, either coins or by using the Ringo app). We had a Super King Executive Room which was huge, had a comfy bed and very clean. Free tea and coffee making facilities too. The bathroom was also big with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was included, you can help yourself to cereals, fruit, jams, Yoghurts, coffee and juice. There's also bread and a toasting machine you can use. You order cooked options from a menu (and tea if you want this). The food was piping hot and tasty. Staff were friendly and for the price we paid our stay was good value. Would stay here again.

ZZhangsanfengdesanfengNext to the golf course, this is an old hotel. It is clean, but very old. The hot and cold water in the taps are separate. The hotel also provides heating in the summer evening, so it is very quiet. There are many small animals to walk around and meet unexpectedly. It is suitable for self-driving. There are also bus groups staying. The surrounding environment is very good, there is a lawn suitable for weddings, and the sunny breakfast restaurant is also impressive.
Stayed here as a couple for one night. Room was large, clean, minimalistic and warm. Good sized bathroom with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful for us. Free parking in a secure area. Downside was that there was no hot water in our bathroom sink and the water was a mere trickle. The sink was also tiny causing me to splash water when washing my face. Shower pressure was not great. There was no mirror in the bedroom area so I couldn’t wash my hair as no mirrors next to a plug to dry it. Mirror in bathroom was good but obviously I can’t plug my hairdryer and straighteners in there. We also couldn’t assess our outfits for the next day as no large mirror. We just nodded at each other that we looked ok. Bed was comfy if a little on the soft side but we slept well. Would we stay again…….probably as it was convenient for us but I’ll ask for a different room.
GGuest UserI booked this accommodation along with two friends for one night. On arrival date was repeatedly texted to confirm time of arrival whilst still travelling, despite confirming we would be there between 1700-1800. On arrival at the guest house there were no staff present, the room keys were left on the reception desk and the front door was propped open. As a female I immediately felt unsafe. The hotel was fully booked and myself and two male friends were upstairs in rooms with no ensuite, there were six rooms on the floor sharing one bathroom with WC, making the WC engaged if a guest was having a shower. No staff visible for any help. I left the premises and my two male colleagues stayed. Breakfast consisted of coffee machines, cereal bars and fruit to help yourself still no staff prresent. This is a non refundable booking. I gave it one star as there was no option for zero stars.
