Ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge – Royal Mile

The receptionist, Lisa, was lovely and incredibly nice. The accommodation is in a great location, within walking distance from the train station, which is very convenient for anyone arriving from England. It's also close to the Royal Mile and other attractions.

The hotel is very close to the University of Edinburgh, just a 3-minute walk away. It's a 10-minute walk to Waverley Station if you don't have luggage and can use the main stairs, but if you have heavy bags, it's about a 20-minute walk over the bridge. Rooms are not available until after 3 PM. The room size is small, the bathroom is tiny, and the room cleanliness is average, with dirty floors. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Breakfast is served on the third floor, a standard English breakfast with decent quality dishes.

About a ten-minute walk from the train station, it's right in the very center, next to the National Museum of Scotland. Super convenient for getting anywhere! The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, and the value for money was great!

The location is incredibly convenient, close to the main campus of the University of Edinburgh, Princes Street, and the Old College. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Edinburgh.

The location is super convenient! There's a supermarket and restaurants right downstairs, and I could walk to the university and all the attractions.

The old town center is close to everything, but be careful as there's another Ibis very nearby that's easy to confuse it with.
