St Christopher's Edinburgh Original ★★★

📍 9-13 Market St, Edinburgh

"The location was very good but I am not satisfied with the services. You have to pay for the lock pads. I booked it through trip.com and got a very high price. I requested to cancel my booking but the hotel didn't agree."

📍 106 Ferry Rd, Edinburgh

"Edinburgh 4Friends House is a wonderful accommodation with everything: location, atmosphere, and service. Located in the city center, it is conveniently located within walking distance of tourist attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. The rooms and common areas are clean, and the calming interior will soothe your travel fatigue. The owner and staff were very kind, and the sightseeing advice and warm hospitality were impressive. In addition, the kitchen facilities are well-equipped, so it is recommended for long-term stays and those who like to cook their own meals. Apex Waterloo Place Hotel Hotels in Edinburgh

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

"For over 3,000, you'd expect a lot more than a standard domestic hotel's level of service and quality. The hotel only has one elevator for ten floors, so waiting for it every time we left or returned felt like an eternity. What really got to me was how terrible the Wi-Fi was – it would connect but not load any pages, making even WeChat chats impossible. We were on the second floor, and even our own mobile data had no signal, leaving us completely disconnected inside the hotel."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh Hotels in Edinburgh

Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh

"The breakfast was incredibly rich, with a wide variety of drinks, bread, sausages, bacon, cereals, and fruits – definitely filling. The location is a tiny bit out of the way, but we took the local train to the city center every day. It's a convenient 12-minute ride from Haymarket Station to Waverley Station. The room was spacious, though the facilities were a little dated. Overall, it was a good stay."

"The hygiene was absolutely terrible. In the afternoon, while I was resting, the housekeeping staff was incredibly loud and threw the blankets and other items on the floor, which was very unsanitary."

"This hotel is close to the National Gallery of Scotland and 2 km from Edinburgh Castle. It's affordable, sometimes even cheaper than a youth hostel, so I would recommend it considering the overall price."

"It was relatively clean. Other guests' belongings in the room were a bit messy, but there were lockable lockers. The front desk staff were also very welcoming, and there's free WiFi. It seems like you can also participate in activities at the hostel. The bathrooms and everything were quite clean. Someone snored at night, so my sleep was just okay."
