The receptionist, Lisa, was lovely and incredibly nice. The accommodation is in a great location, within walking distance from the train station, which is very convenient for anyone arriving from England. It's also close to the Royal Mile and other attractions.

The hotel is very close to the University of Edinburgh, just a 3-minute walk away. It's a 10-minute walk to Waverley Station if you don't have luggage and can use the main stairs, but if you have heavy bags, it's about a 20-minute walk over the bridge. Rooms are not available until after 3 PM. The room size is small, the bathroom is tiny, and the room cleanliness is average, with dirty floors. About a ten-minute walk from the train station, it's right in the very center, next to the National Museum of Scotland. Super convenient for getting anywhere! The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, and the value for money was great!

The location is incredibly convenient, close to the main campus of the University of Edinburgh, Princes Street, and the Old College. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Edinburgh.

My experience was pretty average. It's a budget chain hotel, on par with a Motel 7 or Hanting back in China. In a developed country, paying super 5-star hotel prices for a hotel that's really just a standard budget chain level from home... all I can say is it's bearable, but don't expect any quality experience!

Great location at Royal Mile. There are many eateries around and Sainsbury's is just below. They offered us to stay in an accessible room. The room and bathroom are slightly more spacious than the standard room so it's just nice we have space to dry our umbrellas (rainy days in Edinburgh). Smooth check in. Water dripping from the aircond. Overlooked that the wash basin is a bit low in an accessible room so a bit tough for tall people. Cold floor, no slippers provided.

The location was generally ok, just was not prepared for the hilly nature of Edinburgh. It was roughly a 15-20 minutes walk away from the Waverley train station. On top of that, you could also walk to other iconic sites like the Edinburgh Castle, the Scott Monument, and Carlton Hill from the hotel while walking through iconic streets like the Victoria Street. Location wise I'd definitely say many attractions are highly accessible in walking distance from the hotel. The room was also clean and the staff were pretty friendly. One downside is that we did not get to try the facilities or food there so we cannot really give our opinions.
