The hotel was part of a series that we used during the tour of the island. It was actually the first one we stayed in after our arrival in Sri Lanka. It is located in the mountains, far from Ella. The transfer is done by small buses, because a big bus cannot reach the hotel. It is far from Ella and cannot be hiked. Very good rooms with a great terrace with very good furniture. The view from the terrace was amazing. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were in the hotel (one night) and we couldn't look around. Persona la is extremely friendly and ready to help when needed. We had an issue with a broken lock on one suitcase and they immediately found a tool to fix it. The food is delicious. In the morning we saw squirrels walking around.

What a view over the pool and the Gap! The rooms were clean and spacious but the hotel is showing its age in places. Very nice food although some large coach parties meant there was a bit of a rush at times and you had to time dinner just right. overall a very nice stay here

Lovely hotel in prime position on top of Ella. We stayed one brief night on our tour around SW Sri Lanka and found it wonderfully luxurious. We ate out in town (Chill Cafe - v good) but the hotel breakfast was a lovely varied buffet and the balcony from our room looked out onto the whole valley. Got up at 6am to watch the sunrise-what a panoramic view we had from our balcony. Lovely staff and beautiful pool altho we didn't get time to use it :-(

This Hotel is Heaven for sure. The food is out of this world, the service beyond comparison. To the staff nothing was impossible. They go above and beyond to make one's stay comfortable and memorable. The view from the rooms is breathtaking not to mention the sunrise which we were not aware of until the lady at the Reception mentioned and we were prepared the next morning. The train is visible from the room and restaurant once it leaves Ella Station and makes it's way to Badulla.

Hotel Heavens Edge EHI is a beautiful hotel located with the view of Ella Gap. We came right after our wedding and the hotel treated us in a customized manner. Excellent food, hospitality of the staff is notably unique and treats the guests very well. Management of hotel is excellent. Also the hotel is close to iconic Little Adams Peak Ella, 9 Arch Bridge, Flying Ravana Mega Zipline and many more. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a real feel of beautiful Ella.

Went as a group cycling around the country and stayed in multiple hotels. Felt like we were super well cared for and loved this location. The views were simply magnificant. A top notch hotel. Outside the bust bustle of Ella town itself. Thank you.

A lovely family ran hotel with plenty of history, very kind and friendly staff and perhaps the best view of Ella. It was my partner’s birthday whilst we were there and 3 of the staff knocked on our door with a cake singing happy birthday which was just wonderful. Only a 5 minute tuktuk into the centre of Ella. You can see walk down in about 15 minutes but would definitely recommend getting a tuktuk back up the hill. Great breakfast too!

A truly heavenly stay at Heaven's Edge in Ella, Sri Lanka! From start to finish, our stay was simply exceptional. The breathtaking views of the surroundings, especially from the room, left us speechless. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the outstanding service we experienced, thanks to the best waiter, Dulitha. His attention to every detail and his friendly manner made our meals a delight. The culinary delights the hotel has to offer were a true treat for the taste buds. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the overall atmosphere exuded a serene elegance. We're grateful for the unforgettable memories we created at Heaven's Edge, and especially for the care shown to us by Dulitha. Undoubtedly an experience we would repeat time and time again!"
