We should have realised this was not going to be good when you find the place is in the middle of an industrial estate. We walked into our “cabin” which looked more like Cell Block H. Our first thought was to leave. The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. Have a look on the top of the light switches. Simple soap and water or a damp rag would remove the build up of grime there. We unfortunately booked a suite. This would be handy if you were tiny because there was no way to walk around without bumping into each other. The only place to sit was on the beds which were singles and our knees touched. To make matters worse the wifi would not connect regardless of what we did. So we followed our first instinct and left immediately.

The ladies at reception are second to none! Unbelievably helpful! I forgot to call ahead to say I’d be arriving after hours, I was a bit panicked. Got here and called the after hours number and Jess couldn’t have been more helpful. She had already sorted out our key. Next day I cut my finger.. again the ladies gave bandaids for me, then I tried to wash and dry some clothes but I think the washer didn’t work because our clothes were still very wet. Did two loads in the dryer and it still wasn’t dry so the ladies at reception took my clothes and popped them in their own dryer. Just SO helpful! Cabins are clean, beds are super comfy and have what you need. Facilities are SO clean. Bbq area was spotless, pool area was spotless. Just a lovely experience. Thank you!

Clean and modern, had everything I needed for a short stay. No cooking facilities or crockery in the studio, aside from tea/coffee making facilities, however there is a communal kitchen not far away. This was great value for money. The check in was easy, and the staff were very friendly.

This was your first time staying at Ingenia Holidays Nepean River
It was way better than we expected
It was incredibly clean well maintained, and the staff were all very very friendly and helpful
It was also quite close to the Nepean Riverwalk
Which made it very easy to have a productive and carefree morning
We will definitely be staying again

We booked 6 one bed room cabins during the Christmas period (24-28) for our family and also booked the function room throughout. The cabins are decent for its price however they were a little outdated but it still made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The noise of the train line didn’t bother us neither. The cabins are close to alot or stores so it was very convenient for us. The function room was also a decent size for us and we enjoyed it with the air con and having a meeting place for the family. The function room was handy because we were a large group and we did not want to take over the bbq area during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed it and would come back again as a family. The staff were really friendly as well.

Would prefer windows that can be locked in partly open position.

You would be better off camping in a tent by the Nepean River than paying to stay at this poorly maintained caravan park. If you like cold showers and zero privacy due to broken blinds in your room this place accommodates. I even hired their function room where I had to spend extra money cleaning their hotplate / Oven and other so-called facilities that I hired that did not actually work. I paid $200 to rent the room and well what can I say ...... Never again. Avoid at all costs. No refund or apology either.
