Inn at Moonlight Beach

Really enjoyed my time here! I’m leaving refreshed and ready to continue my health journey. The best part was being surrounded by all of the wellness - teas, infused water, fresh air, bath salts, candles, herbs, sound machine, next to beach & hiking trails etc.

Beautiful and thoughtful place. Well appointed. Great free breakfast. Gorgeous garden. You can pick your own herbs and veggies for teas and salads. I’ll be back next time I’m in the SD area. Lots of restaurants are close. Would be good for couples

Truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful oasis. Stayed here for our anniversary. Nestled in Encinitas, walking distance to Moonlight Beach. It’s perfect. Every corner of this Inn has something to offer, relaxing and truly magical weekend. My kids enjoyed the art and craft station, they had fun painting pumpkin and rocks, and cracking macadamia and walnut from local farm. Thank you to warm and welcoming staff that made our stay so worth it. 5 stars!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, echo friendly, peaceful retreat. A friend recommended it to me and we drove from LA. It is very close to the beach and great restaurant.I highly recommend it either with friends, family or couple. Thank you to all the staff.

Not a "conscious" resort. Black toxic mold that made me very sick, owners have no integrity or take no accountability. lack mold in shower, room smells like mildew, had the worst mold headache that felt like my brain was on fire while I was staying here - symptoms alleviated when I left the hotel room. Lights in the hotel room constantly flickering, I had to keep the main light off my entire stay due to this. For anyone with photo-sensitivity this is a severe health hazard. Very noisy, train tracks all hours of the night, poor noise insulation you can hear plumbing and every single word your next door neighbor says. No amenities aside from the garden. You get a cold hard boiled egg and cold toast with fruit and yogurt for breakfast. They say they have water filtration and tap that you can drink but seeing how the entire place lacked integrity I grew weary of this and bought my own water. Non organic teas/tea bags in the rooms and makeup wipes with fragrance. I was hoping for a restorative getaway, instead I got the worst headache of my life and the worst quality hotel I've ever stayed in. The garden and flower bath are nice touches but it can't replace basic necessities. This place is nothing like what was advertised and I wish I read the other negative reviews before I booked it and spent so much money here. I feel duped and deceived. Going to cost me a lot in time, energy and money to detox my body from mold after staying here. As much as I hate to write an awful review I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

This place is beautiful and everything smells amazing. I love the relaxing atmosphere and all the complimentary natural products. The breakfast basket was so cute. It was a great place for a mama’s away night and will definitely be returning.
