Super Hotel und Gaststätte, ein Altbier und eine Schokolade zur Begrüßung, sauberes gut ausgestattetes Zimmer, ich war sehr zufriedene!

Hier treffen sich Menschen, die etwas gemeinsam haben. Sie sitzen um den Tresen, quasseln oder schauen Fussball. Achja, und sie trinken Schlösser Alt. Im nächsten Gastraum sitzt man am Tisch schon einmal mit einem unbekannten Menschen nah beieinander. Man kann kommunizieren oder ignorieren. Es ist eine friedliche, gemütliche Stimmung. Egal was man hat oder ist. Die Küche. Manche sagen bürgerlich, manche bodenständig, weil hausgemacht. Sie ist aber auch saisonal. Auf der Tageskarte standen Muscheln Rheinischer Art oder Schaschlik - sehr zu empfehlen. Sonderwünsche - Steak mit extra geschmorten Zwiebeln - kein Problem. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Alle Gerichte kamen zur gleichen Zeit und in der richtigen Temperatur. Ebenso die Getränke. Hier stimmen Preis und Leistung und Atmosphäre.

Wir waren nur im Brauhaus und keine Hotelgäste. Das Essen war wirklich schlecht. Grünkohl geschmacklos, mit hunderten von Senfkörnern auf denen man rumgekaut hat und viel zu flüssig. Dazu matschige und in Öl ertränkte Bratkartoffeln und zähes, trockenes Kassler. Die Gänsekeule war teuer und tot gekocht, trocken und hart. Dazu das Getümmel der Stube. Also da kann man gemütlicher den Abend verbringen und mit Sicherheit besser essen! Dazu ein muffiger Kellner, der keine Lust auf seinen Job hat und der zwar beim Abräumen (!) fragt, ob alles okay war, die Antwort aber gar nicht registriert!

Aufgrund des Hochwassers haben wir zwei Tage im Landhaus verbracht. Angefangen von der sehr freundlichen Aufnahme in unserer Wohnungslosigkeit bis hin zum sehr leckeren Essen haben meine Lebensgefährtin und ich den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir möchten das überaus tolle Personal und den super Service loben. Lieben Dank von Petra und Markus
