We were treated like absolute royalty at this hotel. The staff was excellent and made everything easy for us.

The basin restaurant did not offer many options Saturday night. We were placed by a loud individual and our food was dry and hard to eat. Hush puppies were stiff and the chicken florentine had too much spinach stuff on top for suck little pieces of chicken. We will come back to the hotel but not the restaurant.

Great stay
The location is everything if wanting to explore downtown. We enjoyed parking and not needing our car until we were ready to check out.
Staff from our shuttle driver, front desk, and waitress were all excellent.
This is obviously a historic hotel, if you are expecting modern luxuries this is not for you. There are thing's that could use some improvement and a deeper clean for sure. The water pressure leaves something to be desired for example. In the end it's all part of this hotels charm.

Got to the hotel to ask about parking and they let us check in early. They Offer shuttle service which was great and convenient to get around places that may be further to walk to.

Historic hotel. some parts updated, some parts need work. Book the hotel because it was historic, won’t stay there, going for moders amenities.

Love this hotel right in the center of downtown. It’s a very old property so it’s a bit rough around the edges, but that’s part of the charm.

Basin Hotel
When you pay upwards of $275 night one expects daily maid service. We were out and about from 9 am to 2 pm and came back and the bed wasn’t made. Trash basket full, used towels etc. when on vacation I don’t expect to have to make a bed and clean the room. Waited quite awhile for food at the balcony restaurant .One waiter for a lot of tables, and he kept apologizing for the late service.

Disappointed
The hotel was dark and employees not friendly or helpful. We had a bad experience in the bar. & slow service on the balcony.
