the hotel was hard to access, my friend has a bad knee and struggled to go down the stiars to get to the lobby. The staff was wonderfully friendly. The river view bed room had massive beds. the view from the room was of the hotels acorss the river who had thier facades covered by builers cloth so the view wasnt that great but the walk along the riverbank was short to the ancient town

I decided to go to Phoenix on the spur of the moment, but the prices have increased during the peak season. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this hotel. The lady at the front desk was super nice and gentle. She helped us find where to park and gave us an upgrade. She also recommended breakfast and loved it. The location is at A few steps down the Tuojiang River, there is a phoenix-like performance
