On arrival we were met at the reception desk by a very laid back guy He informed us we had been given an upgrade ,and our room was overlooking the Loch Room was large and well maintained,Bed was huge would have slept four if you are in to that sort of thing The Hotel is close by for the High Street and the Station Only complaint was the noise coming from the room above .Sounded like they were wearing Doc Martin boots on there feet,.But of course the Hotel cannot be held accountable for that.Perhaps they could put a note in the rooms asking that they respect the people in room below One tip.The restaurants get busy very early,as there are a lot of North Americans staying in area,so would recommend you book a table where possible

I really like this hotel. The view is amazing, and the reception is very friendly. They also have a restaurant and bar downstairs, which is really a saver for us after a long day of driving.

Parking is convenient and free, suitable for self-driving tour. Breakfast is OK, it is a traditional English breakfast. The room is not old, but it is still clean. It is still acceptable for one night, and there is a big supermarket next to it. Cost-effective

Very satisfied, we live in a room alone, the double bed sleeps two people a bit small, sleeps one person is very comfortable, the hot water is very good, the room is very clean, the two sets of towels, the shower gel is not all need to bring your own, there is a kitchen, you can prepare breakfast yourself. Good location and easy parking. The restaurant in the hotel is very poor. I ordered a steak for dinner. I said it would be five mature, but I couldn't bite it. It was definitely over-fried. In fact, Glencoe Canyon does not have a fixed attraction. After coming from Lomond Lake and entering the mountains, every viewpoint is an attraction. Prices start at £4 or £5 per night... This is an old castle hotel on the west side of the Scottish Highlands. From a common area point of view everything is well done and impeccable. But from the point of view of the rooms...the price/performance ratio is obviously super low. The facilities are outdated, so I asked for a humidifier... A hair dryer that was produced 20 years ago came, which was completely unacceptable and had no humidifying effect at all. The shower room has very strict requirements on the size of the guests, and I personally feel that the water pressure can be further improved and improved. The laudable point is that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap in the bathroom...all have two ball royal certifications, and the quality is also carried. The cold and hot water device of the washbasin is a traditional separate type, which is the kind of water that you either use cold water or hot water, and it cannot be warm water anyway. The sofa in the guest room is made of fabric. The disadvantage is that you can't see whether it has lice or whether it is clean. Anyway, it is so old that people don't want to sit on it at all. It's pretty good, but the quality of the coffee is not good. The service staff are warm, courteous, serious and smiling. 9 of our family stayed in one of the beach villas at hollytree which was awesome. We dined in the Hollytree hotel on the Sunday evening 17 March. The food was excellent. The evening was only marred by a very rude man screaming at the waiter at the next table to us in a full restaurant, about his food. The waiter tried to placate him, however he continued shouting. He then ranted to the young waitress at the bar area that there would be “a sh$t show from the media tomorrow”. We were shocked by this behaviour, and all felt that any complaint really should have been dealt with away from the earshot of the rest of the diners. The staff were all lovely and helpful throughout our stay.
