Wow! As the father of the bride for my first-born daughter & her fiancé we researched long & hard for a hotel that could handle our out of town guests to give them an authentic Texas experience. After evaluating different options we chose the Historic Sinclair Building Fort Worth from Marriott Autograph collection. Sinclair is a renovated office building that Sinclair Oil used to operate from and is just steps away from Sundance Square. Marriott has touches throughout the building that tributes its storied history. Sinclair has combined the authenticity of the past with cutting edge technology. The bathroom mirror had apps inside the mirror for the weather, news, & music etc. The bathroom also had lighting that could change colors and moods. The curtains could be closed with the touch of a button so you can fall in asleep in the absolutely amazingly comfortable bed. While all that was more than wonderful the real magic happened with the service- starting with sales leader Courtney Towson & GM Tammy Vallejo. They invited us to lunch to learn about our event and provided top notch solutions from putting gift bags in guest’s room, private check in line, and a complete staff of can-do attitudes. Courtney even came in on Saturday to check in on us. She opened up roof top bar for bride/groom first looks. After the wedding we came back to a bottle of wine and handwritten note of congratulations from Courtney. Magical day, Magical Property, Magical Location, Magical Service!!!

I booked a room, dinner, valet parking, and a spa treatment as a gift for a friend. She really enjoyed the hotel. She loved her massage at the spa, and she said dinner at Whiskey & Rye was good. I’m glad she enjoyed her stay so I definitely feel like it was worth it, but this is my first time dealing with a luxury hotel and I’m a bit surprised that everything seemed so difficult. For starters, I booked the room online. I called to confirm I’d done so correctly because it was a gift and I didn’t want any problems. Initially, I was told the room needed to be in my name and that my friend could be listed as an extra person in the room. I was told that the manager would email me a credit card authorization form and that I’d need to fill it out and fax it back by a certain date. I never received a form so I called back. I was told that the room needed to be in my friend’s name and that I’d be emailed the authorization and I could email it back when I filled it out. I got an authorization link but it wasn’t a form I was meant to fill out, it was just for prepayment but it was listed for $0. I called back again and asked to talk to a manager just to make sure there wouldn’t be any issues. He set me up with everything and said he’d email the authorization. It never came through so I had to call back. Eventually, I got the proper authorization link and prepaid. My friend had no issues with her stay. One thing I found annoying was that I prepaid for a 50-minute massage at the spa. I also paid for a $50 activity credit for dinner. I noticed I was overcharged and my friend said her card was charged as well despite the manager assuring me they just needed her card on file, that I’d be the only one with charges for the accommodations, taxes, and incidentals. Again, I had to call several times and ended up never being able to speak to who I needed to. I emailed corporate and I got connected to who I needed to, but it’s a process and each email reply takes 24-48 hours. I was told that the massage actually costs $50 more than the credit I’d paid for, which seems misleading. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t attach a monetary value to the spa credit instead of advertising it as a fully paid 50 minute massage. Because of that, the credit I’d purchased to cover dinner was applied to the spa treatment, which meant I’d paid $52 for dinner out of incidentals. It’s not a huge issue, but it just feels misleading. The charge on my friend’s card also fell off and I was told that someone should’ve explained she’d have a hold placed on that card in the event of damages. No one did, and I would’ve paid more toward the room and incidentals initially if I’d known that. I’m really glad my friend enjoyed her stay but I don’t know if I’d feel inclined to book here again in the future. The added packages seem more like a headache than just paying for stuff outright. Overall, I wish things were communicated more clearly because it was a confusing process and not something I re

September 2022, I checked into the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Fort Worth, Texas along with my daughter and 10-year-old granddaughter. On the second night while at the pool there was some activity on the second floor in the window directly above us. A middle aged man approached the window, turned around dropped his shorts and bared himself to us all. The pool is very close to the hotel. My ten-year-old granddaughter saw all of him. ALL of him. To say the least we were all upset. We immediately left the pool, and I went to the front desk to report the incident. Much to my surprise there was not a manager available and would not be available until the next morning. It was not option to even call management, I asked. An employee did have me go outside with him to point out the window. The people in the room heard us at the pool level and quickly closed the drapes. The window was still open. The employees told me the only thing they could do was tell me to call the police. I don’t understand why they could not and would not at the very least inform the people in this room there was a child in the pool. To make things worse that room was on the same hall as ours. Maybe 4 to 6 doors down. The next morning when I went down to speak to the manager, I was informed that there was no manager on the weekends. I was again told my only option was to call the police. When I asked if they could tell me if that room had checked out, they were not allowed to tell me that either. So based on that information we did not use any of the public areas of the hotel the rest of our stay, including the pool or have breakfasts. The hotel no longer felt safe not knowing if we would see this man in the halls, lobby, pool or breakfast areas. On our third and final night of our stay the fire alarms went off in the middle of the evening. When I went down to the front desk to see what was going on, I was informed along with another customer, that an EX-employee set off the fire alarm just to cause trouble. How was an ex-employee able to set off a fire alarm? What else does this ex-employee has access too? What else would he do the cause problems? Between the pervert and disgruntled ex-employee, I did not sleep very well. This location has several major safety concerns. I felt far from safe on so many levels. Not one time was I asked if there was anything I needed. I was told the manager would be informed of my concerns, but I was not asked what my name was or what room I was in. No one really cared. I booked this hotel based on the Raddison name, but we could not get out of this hotel fast enough. So disappointed.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights in April. We have mixed emotions about this place. If you’re looking strictly for an ok place to sleep at nights, this will likely do the trick. If you’re looking for quality or amenities, look elsewhere. I was disappointed when we found out the pool, hot tub, gym, and ice machine were all “out of order”. If those are important things, you may want to call in advance to verify their status. All of the employees we encountered were rather friendly. The breakfast was what I expected if not a little better. Your basic waffle maker, bacon, toast, and eggs. The one thing I would mention is the area that this hotel is located in is um suspect at best. It’s directly off the highway which is great for access but that’s about it. We encountered countless homeless folks. Right up the road are a few strip clubs. This just isn’t a place I would bring kids to stay at. The parking lot at night is pretty questionable. I would highly recommend parking as close to the front entrance as possible. The room was clean and was fine. The dead bolt lock was totally broken and was laughable. Overall the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for.

Avoid this hotel! Our room was gross on arrival. The smell was the worse. The first room, our bathtub was full of hair and a dirty bath cloth. Something very nasty was smeared across the wall above the trash, and the air did not cool. We asked for another room and were moved. The second room was clean but still had a foul smell. The closet shelf/pole fell on my son. They came much later and fixed only for it to fall again. Our toilet handle broke and it took 2 days to fix it. We had to call the corporate office to get someone in the room to fix the toilet. The front desk would not address it. The advertised shuttle was not running. The bar was fully open, but the advertised restaurant was closed because the cook did not show for 2 nights. (Pretty sure that was against the state health departments mandate). We had several friends in different rooms with other issues. The coffee makers not working, tv not working, refrigerator not cooling etc. To top our bad experience off... at checkout the bill had so many extra charges that we are still disputing that it doubled our cost. We have called for a week and cannot get a manager, and are told he is the only one that can help us. I have finally called the corporate office again and waiting a response. I disputed the charges at check out also, but was told then there was not manager on-site and the front desk could not fix it.

Okay property, crappy internet, thin walls, noisy hallways and most importantly very rude and unprofessional staff. As a Diamond member, that’s well aware of Hilton standards, im utterly appalled by the way I was treated by the Front Desk Night Auditor. She was rude and full of sarcasm. I was given misinformation from a front desk staff member(s) and instead of apologizing or attempting to correct the error politely, she sarcastically continued to indirectly taunt me about the misinformation. She then calls the GM, places him on speaker phone for him to say “yeah she’s right” no empathy, no concern, no reconciliation. Then when I while attempting to prove my point (since when I let him know that the clerk was rude/sarcastic the GM says that he will rewind the camera to verify that she wasn’t rude or sarcastic), he couldn’t rewind the camera to verify that the information I was given earlier was given while he, pest control and some one else was at the desk. I should’ve known the GM wasn’t concerned because he doesn’t speak, he wasn’t inviting. I mentioned my being a Diamond guest, his rebuttal was I know what’s expected he’s at Diamond status as well. Moral of the story is that it’s not what you do but how you do it. I stayed with intermittent internet service. I stay through the horrible smell coming from a neighboring room. I stayed through the constant noise from the highway, the slamming of doors all night and the paper thin walls. They want the money but they sure as heck aren’t willing to be HOSPITABLE which ultimately should be the goal. Needless to say, I’m checking out and will forewarn others to by all means avoid this place if you’re seeking quality, comfortable stay. I only chose here because it was near a job site. I’ll travel to avoid this place. It’s a rip off. If they treat Diamond guests like this, imagine what they do to others that aren’t.

I have also worked for Hampton Inn & Suites before. This property has a very well trained staff, extremely professional welcoming front desk staff and super clean beautifully maintain super clean rooms and facilities. 5 stars all the way for this property!

GGuest UserThis hotel was exceptionally clean, as I’m sure most of it has to do with the fact that it relatively brand new. And the staff was cleaning continuously. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable! The bed and the pillows were the most comfy I’ve ever slept in and the room gets super dark when you pull the shades, even in the middle of the day. Our room had just a shower, it would’ve been nice to have a shower tub combo, but all in all I will give this room and hotel five stars! The location is ideal for shopping and restaurants close by. And also, it’s on the outskirts of Ft. Worth, so traffic isn’t too terrible getting around. Breakfast was good and had a decent selection, waffles, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, muffins, juice, and coffee. Negative: Pool was freezing! I thought for an indoor pool it would be heated…

ZZD & LDThis is a great hotel situated in a convenient location with several options for dinner and activities. We were happy with the layout and overall quality of the hotel. The in room kitchen amenities were awesome so we could stay in and relax. Our only draw back about the experience was sleeping. Large king size bed so no complaints on room however very uncomfortable. The linens were sparse and feather pillows not as comfortable as I would have imagined considering the caliber of the other amenities. If you don't require the fluff and comfort in the bedding amenities you are solid with this hotel choice. I give this hotel a solid 4.5 for convenience and comfort for business but if you want to have the luxury of a vacation and soft pillows to bat considering a higher price point. Overall this hotel, staff and amenities are top notch for a simple staycation. I might also mention no fault by any of the hotel staff or affiliations they seem to be dealing with car break ins. There was a small incident that was handled very professionally by staff I noticed check out day. Parking is ample and close this was surely just a matter of coincidence and staff was on top of ensuring guest and belongings were top priority. Thanks Hilton, great stay. Suggestion...no more feather pillows 😁

GGUOQINGSurrounding environment is good. But the accommodation experience was not good. Staff are mainly black and Latino. First of all, the black girl had a happy exchange with her companion when checking in. Suddenly she became indifferent when receiving us. There was no smile, no visual communication and no explanation. Later, I found that the English expression of the staff here is ambiguous and heavy. (Latin?) Accent, maybe their language ability affects their communication. The air conditioner in the room where we stayed was unable to adjust the fixed temperature. Either the temperature keeps rising or the temperature keeps decreasing, the phone cannot be used and cannot be used. The maintenance staff who found it gave them a bad explanation in English and did not solve the air conditioning problem. Had to find the front desk to change rooms. The black girl at the front desk gave the other room key without any explanation, and then asked her about the curtains, and she couldn't say clearly for a long time. Even the curtain curtain sounded weird, I really guessed it. Stayed together for one night and found that she was still on duty the next day and often could not find anyone. All in all, it was the only time I felt unwelcome.

GGuest UserI stayed for 5 days in Middle of July 2022. Why we liked this place: This is a very nice hotel. There are some facilities that need to be upgraded but you can see that they are underway. The Pool areas is indoors as this is nice for when it is way too humid outside and/or storming which happens often. The pool did have a heavy chlorine smell and the water was a bit cloudy, Obviously from people not showering their kids or themselves prior to and when we went the pool was packed with kids. The staff was so kind and accommodating. They met every need. The staff was so nice and helpful when we needed something. It didn't seem fake at all. They all need to be commended! All shifts! One woman, who was obviously off one evening, was bringing food to her co-worker, helped me with a small issue, she wasn't even on the clock! The Breakfast was not bad at all. Very good selection of grab and go. They do have Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage to serve-yourself. Oatmeal and cereals and limited selection of breads and pastries but it’s all very adequate. They also have a do-it-yourself waffle station. We got the whirlpool room and the tub in in the room with a wall partition. Plenty of room for two people to bath together. WiFi was free and worked well. BIG PLUS-THE A/C in the room was AMAZING!!!! The Downside: It is a bit out of the way if you are into the metropolitan areas but super close to Carswell military base. Right on the freeway with access to just about anywhere. My only real complaint was the facilities needs a coat of paint and the whirlpool room had a bit of a locker room smell, which I think is from the tub being in the room itself and carpeting up against it. The staff did give us heavy duty room spray which helped. Also, you have to tell them if you would like your towels refreshed and beds made. But these are all not too big of problems. We were on the first floor and our view was of the apartment complex next to the property but it was not bad. There really are no views of the wide open spaces. RRalph SimpsonMy room for the most part was okay, but the area just outside my room around the door that exited to outside was messy with a full garbage bag and an unfinished plastic plate of food from my check in Friday evening through my check out on Sunday. Both items attracted heavy amounts of bees and other bugs.

GGuest UserThe Motel 6 Ft Worth Downtown East is pretty basic. Looks dodgy from the outside but it felt secure otherwise. Definitely a place where people stay long terms. Walls are thin, so expect noise. I booked via Hotwire and my assigned room had a view of the parking lot. Floor was damp when I walked in and room smelled musty. Assume that was heat and humidity related but still odd. Bed comfortable enough so I slept well. Room furniture was neither new nor old but looked cheap/worn/chipping. ”Desk” bolted to the wall. Room had a fridge and microwave. No bathroom toiletries. Location ok if you have a car or Uber/Lyft since nothing is within walking distance. No real hotel amenities. Honestly, if you have some funds to spare, stay at a better chain.
