I've been to Fukuoka multiple times and previously stayed at other establishments that simply cannot match the Ritz. Got a king room for my honeymoon. Really appreciate Sanjay and rest of staff making us feel very appreciated from check-in until departure. The level of attentiveness was impressive, and people here speak good English. Location is quite good, close to metro/bus stops, Ohori park,and plenty of eateries/shopping/yatai's. Room is as modern as you'd expect. Bed and bathroom are very comfortable - other hotels are going to struggle to match this level of sophistication. I really appreciated the amount of space vs the typical Japanese hotel. Great amount of amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement - in-room snacks - we got the impression that several of the snacks were complimentary. After we checked out, we discovered that they were not, an unpleasant surprise. Some better communication here would be valuable. Late check out - as an Elite member at check-in we were told that late check out would be offered. However, on the day of I discovered that I still had to call to ask for late check out, and then I had to wait a bit until they called back to confirm. The small details matter in delivering a flawless experience. Still, these are relatively minor things and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. On our next stay to lovely Fukuoka we'd definitely only stay here. Book it, you won't regret it.

ニューオタニブランドなので、それなりの期待をしていましたが、残念ながら打ち砕かれました。 ビジネス利用で朝食付きツインタイプに1人で宿泊。 部屋の広さは十分で清潔感はあり、アメニティも充実していました。古さは否めない感じですが、水回りやクローゼット等一部はリニューアルされており、空調も不快さはなく良かったです。 しかし、ベッドのマットレスは安めのモノでしょうか、寝心地は良くありません。周辺にある新しいビジネスホテルの方がよっぽどこだわりのある高品質モノが多いと感じました。 その点については、大きく期待を裏切られてしまいました。 洋食バイキングの朝食は品数がものすごく少なく、本当に残念でした。 *料理のオーダーが出来る点や、味は全般的に合格点ですが、種類が少なすぎるのは驚きを隠せず愕然としました。 朝食会場のスタッフの対応も味気なく、空いていたのに流れ作業的な感じる雑な感じ。ホテルの看板を背負っている意識は微塵も感じられませんでした。 清掃スタッフはすれ違いざまにしっかり立ち止まって挨拶されましたが、遠くに見えてスタッフは横柄な歩き方でダラダラとしていて気分が悪くなりました。 この点についても、周辺の新しいビジネスホテルの方が教育が行き届いている感じがします。 フロントスタッフの方々は、忙しそうでしたがテキパキとしていて不快さはありませんでしたが、一方で暖かさは感じませんでした。 結論、バード、ソフト、値段を勘案すると選びません。 よっぽど安ければまた泊まりたいとは思いますが、積極的にはナシです。 バードは予算の問題もあり簡単には改善出来ませんが、スタッフ教育は幾らでも出来るはずです。 気が付いたら、周辺の競合ホテルや、競合ではないランクのホテルに抜かれていた、、、そんな未来が近いホテルですね。

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

When you open the door, there is a bed in front of you, so the room looks small at first glance, but the comfortable size bath is large and comfortable! We usually stay in a newer boutique hotel in Tenjin. We had to stay in Plaza Hotel Tenjin this time since our fave hotel was fully booked. We booked two rooms - a semi double non smoking room and a double smoking room (they ran out of non smoking double rooms). Location is good. The hotel is near Akasaka station and Tenjin station. A lot of good shops and restos in the area like Ippudo, Lamp Light Books Cafe, Little Napoli, Billy's, Apple, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Levi's, Muji, and dozens more pre-owned clothing stores. Hotel is kinda dated. As expected, the rooms are small but the bathrooms are even smaller. The bed mattresses, comforters, curtains, and carpets have seen better days. But the amenities like yukata, coffee, tea, and tons of toiletries are excellent. You can expect your room to be (limited) cleaned, i.e. replace towels, bring out the trash, and vacuum the carpet, daily between 10am and 11am only. Wish that they also replace and fix the beddings daily for long-stay guests like us. Check-in and check-out procedure was a breeze. Front desk personnel (specially the Japanese lady staffers) were very helpful specially when we needed two taxis to go to the airport during rush hour. Just like other small hotels, it has a common room with an ice machine, vending machines (for drinks), microwave oven, and coin laundry. All these were very useful and convenient to have.

Richmond Hotels has always been my first choice for accommodation in Japan, and this stay in Tianjin Xitong is also quite satisfactory. The hotel is located in the lively Tenjin business district and is also very close to the station. The room and public facilities are well equipped, and the space is quite comfortable and bright. The hotel staff was very kind and although the English communication was not smooth, they would do their best to solve the problem for the passengers. The only pity was that this stay was on the fifth floor, and at night there was still a little noise and bowling from the building next door. If you have the opportunity to visit Fukuoka again, you will want to stay again.

The hotel is located in a good location, about ５ minutes walk from Tenjin Akasaka Station on the subway. The pots, ramen shops and popular stalls that cannot be removed in sightseeing were all within walking distance, and it was also perfect for drinking and walking. Also, there was a convenience store right next to the hotel and there was no trouble with steep shopping. Free wifi was available in the building of course and it was a comfortable hotel.

Good access within walking distance from Tenjin Station. I was happy with the foot massage and tea service in the lady room. Because the air conditioning was not individual, the temperature was not adjusted by 々 and it was hot. Wi Fi is weak depending on the time zone and is inconvenient to use it at work. At present, breakfast is lunch box in the corona countermeasure, but I was asked whether I could choose the time zone to deliver and the need for warming, and knock the door when I delivered it, and I felt fine. It was a hand-held type, and the head was large and comfortable. The amenities were substantial, the dryer was solid, and it was easy to dry the hair. There was an espresso machine in the room. It's a bit far from Fukuoka Airport. It's hard to change. I took a taxi right in front of the dormitory. It's a little blocked for commuting. It took about 30 minutes! The amount came about 2600 yen, and it's so close to Daimyo Street, and there are Family Mart and Lawson. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's not noisy at all. The bunk bed and the room are good. The bed is completely fluffy. The pillows are a pity, but they are cool and I have a good night's sleep! The hostel is completely clean and the toothpaste is too low. Unfortunately, today, there are cleaning oil, shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
