The second time I stayed here, the same ocean view room was set up as before, but the room felt a lot smaller than the previous one. Resolutely consulted the front desk, not only adjusting the room but adding a free bed to match the last room. When you open the curtains you can see the Baltic Sea in the distance and walk to the beach with all kinds of wild sea birds, ducks and geese. There is also a large area with facilities for children on the beach, suitable for children of all ages. Most notable is the hotel's swimming pool. It should be a training base for various local water sports. During my stay, I met the tall ladies who did aqua aerobics, the kids learned to swim, oxygen tank scuba diving, and individual kayaking. Very interesting!

Clean, comfortable and great spot on the waterfront. Short walk to the centre and train station to get around the rest of the coast. Staff friendly, restaurant food selection good for breakfast and dinner. Bar nice to sit outside during the summer days and evenings.

I have been looking for the perfect place for my birthday trip for a long time. The choice fell to the Rezydent Hotel. Unfortunately, instead of a great stay, I was disappointed. The advantages of the hotel are the location and nice interior, but unfortunately, it ends there. It is unacceptable that in a supposedly 5* hotel, the reception staff does not greet guests and is so indifferent, apart from Mr Marek, who was the only one who showed exceptional kindness and help, which surprised us pleasantly. - Air conditioning in the room didn't work. - The refrigerator was not cooling properly. - The bedding that was changed on the second day of stay was torn. - The tap by the sink was so short that you could hardly wash your hands by tapping your hands against the sink. - The carpet was dirty. Interestingly, in May, someone wrote a review reporting that room 304 had a dirty carpet. The hotel responded to it, but still, it wasn't cleaned for 3 months! We have been waiting for this trip for a long time, we are sorry, and we are disappointed with the stay. In a hotel of this class, such situations should not take place and prove that a hotel with five stars has nothing to do with it.

Very pleasant stay. Check in was quick and easy. Room was cleaned well, nicely decorated, good lighting, comfortable mattress, clean towels and linens, refrigerator in room, free bottled water provided, good temperature control, good towels, nice bath products and good water pressure, great proximity to the Gdansk Oliwa train station. The only complaints would be lack of English cable stations (no CNN), I was unable to connect my HDMI device to the TV and some noises could be heard in my room from the hallway. Also there is currently a lot of street construction around the property. However, overall it was a great stay in a comfortable and inviting hotel.

Très bel établis*****t non loin de la grande et belle plage de Sopot. Belle chambre et salle de bains avec douche italienne. Le petit déjeuner est varié et satisfait toutes les envies. Le personnel est très sympa. Le restaurant offre une très jolie terrasse verdoyante et agréable. La carte n’est pas sans fin mais propose des plats vraiment très bons et un service très attentionné. Piscine intérieure et spa sont à disposition. Le bar de l’hôtel est top avec une très belle carte. A recommander pour une visite reposante et plaisante de la région de Sopot. Merci à toute l’équipe. Sopot nested inbetween Gdansk & Gdynia - the Tri-City is called the Polish Riviera. And rightfully so even in winter. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Sopot. As a high tier member of the All Accor loyalty program, my experiences at various properties have sculpted my expectations towards excellence. The Sofitel Grand Hotel in Sopot, a legendary landmark, unfortunately does not live up to its grandeur in several ways, and leaves room for improvement in others. Positives: - Prime Location: The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, offering easy access to the best of Sopot. Nestled conveniently, it stands as a gateway to the city's charms and fantastic views over the Baltic Sea. Exemplary Staff: True to the Sofitel brand, the staff here are the epitome of politeness and attentiveness. Their care and attention to detail made the stay significantly more comfortable. Sleep Like Royalty: The beds at Sofitel Grand Sopot are a dream. Offering fantastic sleep comfort, they ensured waling up refreshed every morning, ready to explore the city. Architectural and historical Marvel: The hotel itself is a legendary landmark, a piece of history that adds a certain prestige to one's stay. Its majestic facade is a sight to behold. Negatives or room for improvement: Ambiance Misses the Mark: The interior, though taking care in the best fashion possible clean, lacks the coziness and elegance one might expect from such a storied hotel. The decor feels somewhat out of step with the building's historic charm. Rooms Need a Touch-Up: While comfortable, the rooms are crying out for an upgrade. They don't quite match the luxurious standard set by other 5-star properties, particularly to mention the bathrooms. Spa with Potential: The spa, boasting a stunning sea view, unfortunately falls short in modernity. A revamp here could transform it into a truly world-class relaxation spot. Rethink Public Spaces: The lounge and other public areas of the hotel are in dire need of a conceptual overhaul. They should echo the grandeur and sophistication of the hotel’s exterior and prime location. In conclusion, while the Sofitel Grand Hotel Sopot excels in location, service, and sleep quality, it is somewhat let down by its interior aspects. As a loyal Accor traveler, I see great potential in this property and hope to see it reach its full, undeniable potential in the near future.

The hotel is located close to both the main Sopotian deptac and the Forest Opera. Modern and well-decorated building, rooms are well decorated. Service without charge. However, the biggest plus was delicious food - both breakfast and dinner. If I had to get something attached, the bathroom in the room was a little bit small, and I could use to change the pillows for a little bigger. But overall stay was very successful, in addition quite affordable (we managed to buy a package with food and parking on the hotel website). Very recommended!!

Przestronny apartament z oddzielna toaleta i łazienką. Plus za pyszne śniadania i najbardziej za super basen. Dzieci zachwycone. Głębokość 120 m na całej długości daje komfort odpoczynku rodzicom 😉Dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Trójmiasta. Pomimo 2 telewizorów minus za ubogie kanały Tv. Dodatkowo bliskość kolei i odgłos przejeżdżających pociągów (dla nas nie był problemem)
