Hotels near Daku Island in General Luna

Booking of the hotel thru trip.com was so smooth and hassle-free. When we arrived at the hotel, there was an issue with the beds. Initially, we booked family room with 1 double bed and 4 single beds since we are a total of 6 (we paid for the additional pax). However, they told us that we and the other guest booked the same room at the same time. Since they arrived earlier, they got the room. Thus, the room that was left is a room that has only 5 single beds. Good thing, the staff thought of a solution instantly. Overall, the hotel’s service was great. Furthermore, they offered wide variety of delicious foods. Kudos to their chefs!

Siargao Island Villas was an amazing place to stay. It was close to many shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can hire a bike and book some good day trips at receptions. We will definitely come stay there again.

We love this mad monkey! We were only meant to be here for 1 week and extended for 3 weeks! Kat, Jonathan, RJ and Christian are the reason for this! They made sure everyone was happy, involved and went above and beyond to make this place great! We have stayed at a few mad monkeys and this is by far the best due to them! Relaxing and chill resort to stay at on the lovely Sairgao island. Good location 15 mins walk into general luna town. Rooms were fine decent size large very comfy bed for this type of accomadation. good size bathroom with hot water. lovely gardens surrouding the rooms from entrance to beach very green and well looked after, wifi in resturant was ok but luckily my room near the resturant on quiet days i could get wifi on my balcony two chairs on the balcony. Sun loungers on the resorts beach were nice and relaxing. would have prefered open and drawn curtains for nice view of the gardens. Sairgao inn resort is around 45 mins from airport mini buses wait has one exits the airport on arrival, resort will arrange mini bus return transfer to the airport for 350 peso. Resturant was nice and food was plentiful and good at fair price, theres two girls who seem to run the resort who done an excellant job, resort can arrange tours. I would recommend this resort for a stay on Sairgao island.

The real location is no problem at all because I ride a motorcycle anyway It's a pity, and I still can't forget the smiles of the staff. Very good service and cleanliness Everything was so good, thank you!

My family and I booked 3 rooms with breakfast included (1 Ocean Premier Suite and 2 standard rooms) to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. I agree with another reviewer that the online booking process needs improvement. Once you make your hotel reservation online, you have 24 hours to pay in full to confirm the booking. I had to pay the resort through Pay Pal. It would be more convenient for guests to pay directly on the Isla Cabana website. You can request airport transfer with the resort for Php 300 (USD $5.40) per person for a shared ride or a private ride for Php 2000 (USD $36) (maximum 6 passengers). The airport transfer needs to be paid in cash with the driver. We did an island hopping tour for Php 1,800 (USD $32.43) per person through the hotel. The island hopping tour includes van transportation to the dock, boat fees, tour guide, and lunch. The island hopping tour is cash only and can not be charged to the resort. We also did a land tour for Php 5000 (USD $90) through the hotel and is cash only as well. The land tour does NOT include the entrance fees for any of the sites. My wife and I stayed in the Ocean Premier Suite which was worth every penny. The ocean premier suite is ocean front and has its own plunge pool. The rest of my family stayed in the standard rooms. The standard rooms have 2 double beds and are spacious. I also agree with other reviewers that since the standard rooms face Tourism Road, it can be loud at night from the music being played across the street from the bars. We ate breakfast daily at the Beach Restaurant and Bar. The breakfast is a buffet. I recommend you eat there earlier since the breakfast trays were empty the later it gets in the morning. We also ate lunch and dinner there a few times. The food is very good. The hotel staff are outstanding and what makes the resort shine. Overall, I highly recommend this resort and would stay here again. Thank you Isla Cabana Resort for making my mother in law's 70th birthday special.

Very good, service is intimate. It is one of the best hotels in the north of General City near Cloud 9! This hotel is very popular in places where Siargao is so backward!

Service was very good. For meals, I ate all kinds of smoothie bowls, but acai was the most delicious. The room was nice and clean, but I wish there was a way to prevent insects from coming. There were many mosquitoes and flies.

Room was very big!!! Its also super clean but the lighting of the room can be much more brighter. The staffs in the kitchen are superb! Love their accommodation. I super love the beach view especially when having breakfast ❤️ My only con was that I lost something here when they cleaned the room (idk why they cleaned the vanity. That’s weird). The night it got lost I reported it and they said that they will replace it, but then the morning came and I called for an update, they said that they have nothing to do with it. 🫠 It made me go nuts so we switched hotel after this. Ps the item that got lost was an essential and u cant find that in siargao. Also, there are bedbugs on our first night but they were quick to respond regarding the issue.
