Lunar Cappadocia Hotel

The ***** Cappadocia Hotel must be considered high-end locally. The room was enormous, with two-thirds of the space dedicated to the living room, a large bathtub, and a spacious bathroom (with two shower areas). For a tourist, if you're only sleeping there at night, it feels quite wasteful. Also, due to the weather, there were no hot air balloon flights, so we didn't get a chance to take photos, which meant the hotel's biggest selling point, the rooftop, was wasted. If I have the chance to visit again, I would opt for a standard business hotel (though they are rare in the area). The service was very good and attentive, and the breakfast was also quite decent.

All in all, a very successful stay for the three of us in the very spacious family room. Great view from the terrace over Göreme. It's about a 7-minute walk downhill to the center, and a bit longer on the way back uphill to the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, including with booking the local sightseeing tour with Hereke Tours.

Everything about this place was top-notch! We made some wonderful memories. The hotel is situated high on a hill, offering panoramic views of Göreme. There's also a bar attached to the hotel, and perhaps because not many people know about it, we were able to quietly and leisurely enjoy the scenery. The prices are also very reasonable. Furthermore, the hotel staff are incredibly kind. We booked a hot air balloon ride and a Japanese-speaking tour of Cappadocia through the hotel, and they offered a wide variety of options and were very quick to respond. They were also very attentive to us throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The hotel's resident dog, Pickles, was a bit shy at first, but after we kept talking to him, he wagged his tail and was absolutely adorable. The guide for the Japanese-speaking tour was also very enthusiastic about explaining things, teaching us so much about Cappadocia's history, culture, and more. Plus, they were incredibly skilled at taking photos. We highly recommend this as well.

This hotel is located about a 10-minute walk up a hill from Göreme's main street. As it's a cave hotel, you can't see anything from the room itself, but once you step outside, you get a panoramic view of Göreme town. In the early morning, you can also watch hot air balloons take off from the rooftop. The room is spacious, divided into a living room and a bedroom, and the bathroom and toilet are also very roomy.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended some great sights and tours. The amenities were also comprehensive, so I didn't need anything extra. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and was very good. In the early morning, I could even watch hot air balloons from the hotel, which was beautiful!

The hotel is almost at the top of the hill, so it's a bit tiring to carry luggage up and down the slopes. The hotel itself is a viewing platform, where you can watch hot air balloons in the morning. The hotel service is superb. We took an overnight bus to chase the hot air balloons, and they arranged an early check-in for us since a room was available. A tall staff member, or perhaps the owner, thoughtfully helped us carry our luggage into the room and even helped us load it into the car after check-out. I don't know his name, but he's a tall, big man. I only managed to get a photo of his back. I'm so grateful to him!

After a lot of searching, I chose ***** in Cappadocia and it was truly worth it. The staff were all very nice and attentive. Although the cave room was a bit damp, everything was maintained in excellent condition as much as possible. I slept very well for all three nights, and the whole town of Goreme was very chill with plenty of activities each day. I highly recommend staying at *****.

The hotel's hygiene, environment, and service are all excellent, highly recommended. We booked a family room, which is perfect for families with children. Watching the hot air balloons from the observation deck in the morning was also great. We originally wanted to book for two nights, but by the time we booked, only one night was available. The garden has many fruit trees, and there are seats outside each room, perfect for sitting outdoors and having a drink, very relaxing. The location is at the top of Goreme, but it's still very convenient to go down for meals, just a five or six-minute walk.
