CityFlatsHotel - Grand Rapids, Ascend Hotel Collection

The place in general is overpriced and not exactly the highest caliber of hotel. It is fine, not great. Room was a bit dirty, and overall a bit chintzy.

The annex rooms /floors did not have ice machines. There was no fridge in the room. The grout in the shower was disgusting. The rooms were very small. The sheets did not seem crisp or clean. The floor was unclean and has threads and hair on it. The rooms were way way way overpriced-$350 per nite for a tiny unclean room

Service was very good and informative. Location was excellent. The room was somewhat disappointing. It was manageable but it was separated by a corner, and the view was of a crumbling wall. The prime amenity we were looking forward to was the bar, which closed an hour prior to when we were told it would.

The room was small but just what we needed. There was no fridge in our room and that would have been nice. The only complaint was that the handle to the shower was broken and my husband got a metal sliver trying to turn it on. It was also very small and there was no way to turn the shower on without being blasted by the freezing cold stream of water.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and clean. Everything was great!

Great location, big rooms. Parking extra and expensive. Parking should be included in stay. Needs bedside table in room with double mattress.

An old building that had been tastefully renovated. Location is also great. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Disappointing that for the price there was no caffeinated coffee in my room and no free coffee in the lobby.

Softest sheets ever and the masters was very soft and fluffy too! Super clean room, great location, would def stay again! (Excellent comp coffee at front desk in the morning too!)
