Palais-Hotel Erzherzog Johann

This old-building hotel boasts a superb location, a plentiful breakfast, an elegant ambiance, and a breakfast space that feels like being in a green botanical garden. It's also just a 3-minute walk to Palace Hill, making it incredibly convenient.

The hotel parking was ridiculous. First, the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot; you have to park in the underground parking garage of the adjacent shopping mall. Then, at check-out, the hotel told us that after paying the parking fee at the front desk, we just needed to insert both parking cards into the machine, but no matter what we did, the machine wouldn't open. We went back to the front desk to inquire, and after trying what they said for an hour, we still couldn't get out. We couldn't find the mall's office either. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel if you're driving. The mall and hotel clearly didn't communicate well, wasting guests' time; the process was complicated and incomprehensible.

It is an old building with flavor and a very good location in the center of the old city, but it also has the outdated facilities of an old hotel. It depends on what kind of travel experience you like.
