The bathroom is located down a short staircase—it's spacious and very clean, though you’ll need to watch your step at night. The staff are professional and friendly, making me feel truly welcome. "Location was within 20 minutes walking to the old town and just 2 minutes on feet to the Grazer Messe (Fair of Graz) facilities. Breakfast was of broad selection and good quality, Tobias satisfied all our wishes in the restaurant. All other staff members (receptionist and cleaning staff) were polite and very helpful. Though the hotel is on a road with tram traffic, noise isolation worked pretty well and we had silent nights. We could easily find parking on the other side of the road, which was luckily free during the weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel if visited Graz next time again."

"This was a good hotel and the rooms are comfortable. The location is ok, being not far from a tram stop which means it does not take long to the centre or the train station. There is a Billa supermarket right beside it if you need any refreshments. The staff seemed friendly. I had been sad about the closing of the Ibis at the main station but this seems an ok replacement for my needs keeping inside the Accor group of hotels without paying too much."

Grand Hotel Wiesler
"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"Very nice location. Our room was facing the main road but there are no noises coming in. The noise camcellation is good! The room is spacious and classy! The parking is easy and it ia 15 Euros per night. We had some issues with heating in our room and the staff gave us more blankets, but in the end the room wasn't as cold as we thought. Overall, satisfied with our stay."

"A very interesting hotel in a vintage style. It's centrally located and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The staff is friendly. Breakfast was good in the cozy restaurant. There was a tea and coffee maker in the room, but no drinking water. The room had a jacuzzi, but we couldn't turn it on. Overall, everything was great, and we highly recommend it!"

"The hotel looks new. Designed in minimalist way, cutting down costs while serving the essentials. A hostel, effectively. Located over 15 minutes away by car from the city centre, the hotel offers free carpark to attract residents. Public transport is less reliable. Breakfast is cheap (€10.5), choice is understandably little. In short, it is quiet, clean and simple."
