"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"The location is excellent. Walking to everything! The room is all stylish, but not all functional. For a couple of nights sleep will fit, and it is better for one, because things are laying nowhere. 4 shoulders, and all... shelves or closet aren't. No and the tug. Nowhere in the building...)))) The air conditioner is, but even at 18 degrees it doesn't cool. It was hot. The windows are not open as the morning is a rumble of garbage, and the open windows haven't saved. They are in the yard, no air traffic. But the loudest thing is the cleaner of the cart on the floor with a tile, pulling it out of the elevator so that you jump in the room. The metal thunder on the cafe... The thunder bottles in the garbage... In general, it is exactly not a place for sleep. Also, the hotel does not provide him with information that he agreed to move with you to another room and a late check-out... to me the cleaner came twice. The second time I was in the shower and very scared. I have no room for settlement on the code castle so far... The smell of food and the sounds of life of all people will be brought from the balcony as it is a yard with a residential house where residents are living their usual life. In general, the impressions are extremely controversial. The aesthetics of the building, yes, but not comfort."

"The hotel is not 580 meters away from Graz Hbf train station as written in the description, but 2.2 kilometers away, which takes 30 minutes to walk. However, the hotel is in a good location, with a little slope on the hillside of the old city, but it is not stressful. The hotel passage leads directly to the municipal park, which is very convenient and beautiful. The room cleaning is stipulated to be at 3 pm or later, and I rarely encounter such service. Because I went out in the morning, it was just right to rest in the afternoon, and then watch the night view at night, so for me it meant no service. Only when I was in the room, I quickly changed towels in the bathroom, collected garbage bags and gave a bottle of water. As for the Internet speed, let's put it this way, it is better than nothing. The hotel wifi needs to open the door of the room to open a crack or simply be in the corridor to be full and faster. 4G needs to open the window to be stronger (but it is very cold and I can't open the window). Maybe it's because of the location of my room, but it's like this for me. In short, it wins in the location, and the rest is just like this..."

"Dear dog lovers, - this is "NOT a dog hotel :-((" - not dog friendly - no dogs allowed in the breakfast room (!) - no service for dogs (!) - as soon as a dog enters the breakfast room, "the staff panics" - we were unfortunately "thrown out of the breakfast room" in a very panicked and very rude manner and sat on a "lonely, uncovered table right next to the reception, in the entrance hall - without place settings - without service" (unfortunately, instead of setting the table for us, the service staff had to chat with the receptionist for minutes about private matters) - really extremely annoying!!! (this is doubly bad because the day before we were allowed to have breakfast "normally in the breakfast room with the dog", and the next day we were "virtually bullied out" by "two hotel employees plus a guest") - when checking out we received a "rotten, tarnished chocolate mini cheap praline" :-(( *super annoying* *absolutely NOT recommended* *this was "the first and last time" at the Hotel-Süd*"

"The location is good, not far from the old town. The room faces the street, but the soundproofing is quite good when the windows are closed. The parking lot is at the back of the hotel and is very small. It takes seven or eight steps to get from the parking lot to the front desk, which is very inconvenient for tourists like us with large suitcases."

Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom that was very functional was clean and comfortable. No problems with anything. They breakfast room was large and had a very good selection. Great stay, well done Hotel Gollner!!"
