Hotels near COUNTRY CLUB PLAZA in Guadalajara

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was small, dark and depressing. It was an interior room with the window facing the lobby and not outside. The room smelled strong of mold and paint. The toilet Handel was broken. Most of the wood flood was warped and bubbled from clearly having been flooded at some point. I asked the front desk to change to an exterior room but they said none with a king sized bed were available. It was very noisy and every sound from the hallway echoed throughout out the room. I believe the was some sports team staying there and it was hard to sleep with kids running through the hall from room to room, shouting, and slamming doors constantly! I will not stay there again and recommend other nearby hotels that cost less!

The hotel is in a good location, if the option is to rest and not to the centre; it has safe, free parking. The suite was quite wide, containing everything necessary for a pleasant rest, careful furniture and complying with everything you offer on your website for that room; wireless internet included, though medium intensity; The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the room was very clean and was very clean. The staff was very careful, both reception, buttons, restaurant.

The service was very good. The waiters at breakfast were attentive and attentive. The room was a bit old.

The hotel is very nice, clean and locally convenient to many must see places in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of the subway/trolley, banks, mercados, plazas, restaurants and more. The hotel concierges were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Danny was our concierge. The hotels bar area is a must if you’re looking for a mellow hangout area to drink with your party. Room service is quick and efficient. They offer a really nice breakfast buffet with many options. The only personal down side was that our rooms outlets were confusing. We had to charge our phones and portable chargers in the bathroom every night, the outlet next to the bedroom wouldn’t charge our phones but would charge our watches and other small appliances.

Hotel is pretty new so it’s still kept up quite nicely. However I found the staff here at both the front desk and the restaurant exceptional. We stayed here on two different occasions and they were both good. Rooms have the proper windows to quiet the noise outside. Also the hotel has a shuttle to the airport BUT NOT FROM THE AIRPORT so keep this in mind. Uber is not allowed at the airport so you will need to take a taxi by pre-paying inside the airport near the rental car area. If you’re in need of staying near the airport, this is the best choice by far. Breakfast is usually included and pretty good too, not that continental crap. Enjoy! 😀

I stayed at RIU Guadalajara for 4 nights in August 2022. I will stay there again on my next trip. My room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and refreshed everyday by 'Helga'. Breakfast was included in my rate and it was well worth the money. I dined on the patio overlooking the city and enjoyed my morning coffee in the morning breeze. The buffet has everything you'd want for breakfast or brunch and the service is excellent. The waiters brought want you wanted without interrupting your meal. Highly recommended!

It looks a lot better in person than it does on their website. It was walking distance from the Historic Center which is where the Cathedrals are located. Great customer service. The food was okay.,but I wouldn't choose to eat there again. But overall my experience was fantastic.

Hotel is in a prime location in the La Gourmeteria Center. Everything is within reach. High end, delicious, restaurants, bars, movie theatre. Super friendly staff. There's a donut shop right in front. Easy access to the main road or bus stop within a few blocks.

Fortunately, we only stayed for 2 nights. The first one, we had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. I ordered a club sandwich (which was the priciest sandwich on the menu) and it came with like singles yellow cheese. If you’re going to use that, don’t charge like you’re using real cheese. The next morning, the service at breakfast was terrible. Also, the food took forever and it wasn’t tasty at all. The next day, when we arrived in the afternoon, the card keys weren’t working. I had to go to the lobby where there was a line because apparently everyone in the hotel was having the same problem. They fixed it and later, that same night, it stopped working again. The room was ok and the facilities were clean. So if you can avoid the food, the service and don’t mind a few trips to the lobby to get your card key fixed, this hotel might work for you.

Negative Five Stars if I could This hotel was advertised as supposedly being the best in Guadalajara, and by the looks of the pictures, I decided to book it. It was my first-time visiting Guadalajara and so I was unfamiliar with the area that this hotel is situated on. I should’ve informed myself better. As soon as I arrived, I quickly noticed that this perhaps was not the best area that Guadalajara had to offer to its visitors. The area surrounding the hotel is filled with seedy people and it immediately made me feel unsafe. There was nobody in the supposed valet area to welcome me, and so I chose the self-park option and feared I’d be mugged for the BMW I was driving. It was very confusing getting to the hotel lobby from the self-parking. When I finally arrived at the hotel lobby, I was immediately disappointed as I saw no people except restaurant staff standing in front of empty restaurants. It was like walking into a ghost town with few unwelcoming locals. As I arrived in the lobby, I could see that this hotel was dilapidated and in a state of disrepair. I could immediately see cracks on the walls near the elevator that run several floors high which might be indicative of structural damage. Just by standing in the empty and cold lobby, I felt as If I was in a hotel that was abandoned long ago. The check in process was easy as I am fluent in Spanish. I had booked a two-night stay in what supposedly was a terrace/balcony view suite similarly priced in comparison to the other big hotels in the city. At this point, I was willing to overlook the aforementioned factors and give this hotel a chance since I had booked what I believed was a suite that I would be comfortable doing work in, and since I had a vehicle, I thought I could circumnavigate the dangerous areas surrounding the hotel. As the bellman escorted me to my suite, as soon as I got off on my floor, I could see how dirty and old the rug and how poorly lit the hallways were. As I approached my room, there was two housekeeping carts blocking my path because an adjacent room was being “cleaned” … The housekeepers saw me attempting to squeeze on by and they neither attempted to make way for me nor acknowledged me. When I arrived at my suite, the bellman did the best he could to show me around in the poorly lit room and as he was showing me around, I could see what terrible condition this room was in. The only thing that was done right was the sheets. The sheets appeared white and neatly pressed, and the bed was well made. I began to walk around to make a thorough inspection like I’ve been trained to do so. The first thing that I noticed was that the furniture was old, cracked and peeling. I also noticed that the glass on top of the work desk in which I planned to do my work in was cracked (could present a liability if a guest gets cut). On the old and cracked nightstand there was a note with the IHG promise to service, cleanliness, etc. Right around that note on the
