It was okay. The location is excellent; the metro station is right around the corner if you turn right, and calling a taxi is easy with clear navigation. You can even walk to the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur. Ordering delivery is also convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and the rooms aren't very spacious. I'd say it's more about the convenience. The breakfast was decent with enough choices.

Traveling with my kids during the summer holiday, our first stop was here. It's a hotel with a lot of history, right next to the subway station, so transportation is super convenient. There are also many small restaurants nearby, and it's close to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. The room was clean and tidy. Definitely recommend it!

True to its reputation as an established star-rated hotel, the environment is excellent, hygiene is impeccable, and the service is top-notch. It offers great value for money. The staff were very friendly and generous; seeing that we had many people and children, they even gave us an extra breakfast. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Guangzhou!

The Guangzhou Hotel boasts an excellent location, making it super convenient for getting around. The subway entrance is right next to the hotel, and getting a taxi is a breeze. I was a bit worried the rooms might be old-fashioned, but my concerns were totally unfounded! The cleanliness was top-notch, the bed was very comfortable, and they even had an 'Xiao Ai' smart speaker. The shower had great hot water, both hot enough and with good pressure. The soundproofing was also quite good; my 12th-floor room facing the street wasn't noisy at all. Although the windows are sealed and don't open, you can still see the Pearl River Bridge and the night view. Room service deliveries are handled by a robot. The service was really good overall. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Guangzhou.

Traveling with my parents and child, I was really satisfied with the hotel. The subway station is right outside the main entrance, and Tianzi Wharf is also within walking distance, which is super convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in Haizhu Square, and my room even offered views of the Pearl River. The room was very clean, the facilities were smart, and the staff were all very enthusiastic. It was a fantastic stay. The Deyun Palace on the rooftop serves authentic dim sum for breakfast, which I highly recommend. It's also great value for money.

Booked for three nights and was very satisfied. It's truly a classic star-rated hotel; the service is top-notch, it's clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is good too – the shrimp dumplings were delicious.

The bed and pillows were quite comfortable, and the room was very clean. The only downside was a slight odor in the bathroom, which I suspect was due to the automatic toilet. However, the service and everything else were great. There's a coffee shop downstairs, and the subway station is right outside, which is super convenient. Plus, there's a good restaurant nearby, Dongshan Restaurant, which seems popular with locals.
