Skov River Resort

We brought our kids to Senlinhai for a two-day, one-night stay, and it was a perfect experience! The hotel facilities are incredibly comprehensive, with a water park, hot springs, and a kids' play area – everything you need. The kids played from morning till night and never got tired. The hot spring water temperature was just right, and the areas were well-sectioned. The safety measures in the play zones were also excellent. Our room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. There were plenty of dining options, with flavors that suited both young and old. The entire resort has beautiful scenery, and strolling around was incredibly therapeutic. It's an excellent choice for a short family getaway in the Pearl River Delta – fun and hassle-free!

I actually hesitated for a long time about whether to come here, because I saw a lot of 'avoid at all costs' warnings online. But I decided to give it a try, and when I arrived, I felt it was really worth it. First, the room design was a huge hit with the kids; they were so reluctant to check out. Then, the water in the water park was very clean and suitable for all ages. The equipment in the forest park was especially new, and seniors, adults, and children all had a great time. Finally, what's worth praising is the attitude of the staff. From the friendly young men and women at the front desk to the room service and the park guides, everyone made us feel very comfortable! All in all, this is a very worthwhile place to visit! We'll definitely come again next time.

First time staying here and I was pleasantly surprised! I'd say it's the top family-friendly hotel in Guangdong. The facilities are excellent, with a water park, amusement rides, and an indoor playground for toddlers all within the resort. The service was impeccable. I'll definitely choose this place for my next vacation.

The room had a unique character, and the service was excellent. They even delivered my takeout directly to the room, and the shuttle bus was available on demand.

Initially, I was quite disappointed. The room type wasn't like what was shown in the video; it was much smaller. If there are such significant differences, it should be clearly stated, and more pictures should be provided. Also, at the water park, there was no distinction between hotel guests and external visitors for lockers, leading me to unnecessarily spend an extra 30 yuan on rental. Later, I took a wrong turn and discovered another indoor pool with free lockers. Most of the staff I encountered were interns who couldn't answer any of my questions. My advice is to only ask the front desk or your butler if you need anything. Furthermore, the hot spring area didn't provide towels or hot drinks, so it was freezing after coming out, especially since it was raining. The Zhuhai Imperial Hot Spring is much more professional in this regard and could serve as a good example. Aside from these points, the environment, dining, and facilities were excellent. There was a lot to do, and even though my child was young and couldn't participate in many activities, there was still plenty to enjoy. Despite the extremely hot weather, we had a lot of fun. I'd love to experience more activities in the future and hope the hotel's service can improve further.

We booked the family room with a slide, and as soon as our little one entered, they went wild with excitement! The privacy was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch; the noticeable disinfectant smell actually made us feel very reassured. The bedding was just right—not too soft, not too firm—allowing us to get a good night's sleep even with a child. The room was thoughtfully equipped with kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and small bathrobes; the attention to detail was perfect! Looking out the window, we had views of the forest and the lake, which completely set the mood. It truly allowed for a 'relaxed parenting' experience. The water park and forest park were so much fun that we didn't want to leave, and they even had cute pets, making it especially suitable for toddlers. The butler service was outstanding and even thoughtfully provided a small gift. All in all, it's a perfect choice for parents who want to relax without the hassle. We'll definitely be back next time! 👍

This was my first visit to Forest Park since it opened, and I want to thank Manager Pan for reaching out beforehand and arranging the room exactly to my specifications, including bed rails and children's pillows. Although there was a small hiccup during check-in, Xiao Pan and the duty manager handled it promptly – thumbs up! We stayed in the villa with the Family Splash Room. The space wasn't huge, but it was enough for four people, and the direct access to the swimming lane from the courtyard was a big bonus. As for the new Forest Park, it's not very big, and there aren't a ton of rides, but the best part is that all the rides have canopies to block the sun. Plus, the queues weren't long at all. Five stars! A small suggestion: The breakfast seems to be getting simpler. The Indian paratha is gone, and the soy milk isn't made from soybeans anymore – it's just the kind you get from a milk tea machine, made from powder and water (I actually saw a staff member refilling the soy milk powder box from the milk tea machine). All the breads are plain rolls with no filling. And you have to queue for over 10 minutes for freshly made noodles or soup. I really hope they improve the breakfast offerings.

The room was clean and tidy overall, and the staff were very proactive and helpful, which I really appreciate! Everything was great, and each room even has a small soaking tub, which kept the kids entertained non-stop. It's a fantastic family-friendly resort for water fun. However, the two theme parks are open to the public and very popular. Other than being a bit too crowded due to their popularity, there are no real downsides.
