Guangzhou Mountain Villa

Fantastic! My first experience coming from Shenzhen to Guangzhou, and I'm amazed at this wonderful place in Baiyun Mountain! They offer pick-up and drop-off service, and the garden setting is absolutely delightful. Waking up early to watch the sunrise was also a great experience. Overall, a five-star rating. I'm planning to stay here once every season!

We booked the Nailong family suite, which was spacious and perfect for three adults and one child. The children's play facilities in the room were also of excellent quality. The hotel environment was amazing. From the outside, it looked like a small entrance, but inside, it was like a wonderland with beautiful scenery at every turn. We even saw the Three-Fold Spring where Deng Gong once stayed. The hotel entrance is a great spot to watch the sunrise, but unfortunately, we encountered a rainy day and missed it. Service was excellent; everything from the reception at the foot of the mountain to check-in was seamless. The shuttle bus frequency between the mountain base and the hotel was also good. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the roasted chicken was absolutely incredible—crispy skin on the outside and juicy on the inside. Although it was a bit pricey, considering we were on a mountain and could enjoy watching swans and peacocks while eating, it was definitely worth it. Breakfast was served as a set meal; while not as varied as a buffet, it was filling and included shrimp dumplings, phoenix claws, beef brisket noodles, and sandwiches.

This was my second stay at the Hillside Hotel this year, and compared to my first visit, the service has become even more complete and thoughtful. As a local, the new parking system, where you drive to the hotel's parking lot and then take a shuttle, is much more reasonable and welcoming. I also noticed an improvement in the service mindset of both the front desk and breakfast staff – excellent! The Hillside Hotel is nestled in Baiyun Mountain, the city's green lung, offering beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, and excellent facilities. It's truly one of the best places to host friends and family visiting Guangzhou.

This isn't my first time at this mountain lodge; whenever I need peace and quiet, I head to Baiyun Mountain. I really love the feeling of being hidden away in the dense mountain forest here. It has that old Lingnan garden charm, with corridors, waterside pavilions, fish ponds, and beautiful plants – just walking around is incredibly relaxing. The rooms are new Chinese style, simple, clean, and open right up to the mountain forest. In the mornings, I don't need an alarm; the birds outside wake me up. I'll just sit on the balcony, drink some tea, and zone out – no need to rush anything. There's a shuttle bus, which makes getting in and out of the mountain convenient. The front desk and service staff are particularly warm and friendly, and they often organize various activities like meditation, painting, and traditional Chinese music. After just one night, a lot of the fatigue accumulated from city life melts away. It's not for those who love hustle and bustle or shopping, but if you're looking for a quiet place to spend a couple of days, this spot is truly perfect.

Guangzhou is comfortable, and the hotel even more so. The koi fish put me in a good mood, and the peacocks strolled around gracefully. The staff provided warm and thoughtful service, whether going up or down the mountain. Thank you.

This is my third time staying at the Mountain Villa Hostel, which shows how satisfied I am! I shared the beautiful morning sun on the day of the Beginning of Autumn and the pleasant midday light with my companion! Looking forward to my next winter visit, when I'll be able to see the beautiful peacocks display their feathers again!

The room is spacious with a large balcony, clean, and the environment is quiet. This is our second time staying here with our kids. The resort also provides children's slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. There are frequent shuttle services up and down the mountain every day, which is very convenient and the service is thoughtful ❤. With such facilities, environment, and service, guests can have a very comfortable stay!

The design is excellent, and the service is very attentive.

A very satisfying travel experience. The front desk upgraded us to a garden view room, which was spacious. The small patio right outside overlooked the koi pond, making for a beautiful setting. Even with heavy rain, it was very relaxing to sit on the patio and listen to it. The resort itself has a lovely environment, and you can get up early to hike, avoiding the crowds. It's perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. The staff throughout the hotel were all very service-oriented, making us feel right at home. The restaurant's dishes were delicious.
