Quite troublesome if you have lots of luggages as there is no place for taxi driver to drop you at the lobby ( taxi drop us at a narrow alley near the hotel ) and furthermore to go to the lobby you need to go down a few stairs and a slope and we didn’t know about that . Hotel staff was friendly and helpful when you check out they will help you carry your luggage to taxi .

Perfect location and lovely room . English at reception was a problem as not even one sign saying "Gangshe Hotel" in English. I would make life so much simpler even a small sign .

I actually have very few words for how impressed I am with this hotel and the staff. I came expecting just a regular cheap hotel, the price is so low but actually it’s very very impressive. I arrived to the wrong location and one member of staff made an enormous effort to come collect me and walk me to the right one… all along the way she was happy and talking about the different places I could visit. The hotel itself is very nice, very clean and way above my expectations. The room too is fantastic - I almost didn’t want to leave the shower haha. I only booked one day but I genuinely wish I was staying here for a few more nights. The only downside I have is the restaurant food, I am vegetarian so the choices were limited but the soup on offer was delicious. I ordered another bowl. There’s also a very nice view from the restaurant balcony so do not miss that!

Location excellent, front desk service friendly n helpful. Xiao Peng, Xiao Wen and all staff are excellent 👍. They also assist us to arrange tour and transport to train station as we have 3 Big luggage n 4 adults. Will book again.

Hotel location was great and right at the heart of the main shopping district. Service was excellent too and everyone was warm and friendly and we were always greeted with smiles! Head to the cafe at the highest floor to get great views to the city with mountains in the background The lobby is decked out in nice decor too Highly recommended place to stay in Guilin!

Amazing room and experience!

My room type was called "light luxury", which I feel is a very accurate description of my stay. Great value for money. Room was very clean and well designed. Staff was very helpful and the location was perfect. Great laundry facilities.

Excellent service - eg. the front desk staff saw us carrying quite a lot of things and offered to bring our 2 big baggage up to our room. This is exceptionally good customer service. Enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Gangshe Hotel is located right in the front gate of Zhengyang pedestrian road. The location itself is perfect, easy to get around and we can find many shops, cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops and even malls & markets just downstair so it is easy to find anything until midnight. The rooms are spacious, clean with good amenities, the downside is just that there is no fridge in the family rooms but they have fridge in the twin bed rooms. The staffs are very nice, patient and helpful. Because it is in the side of the road, we have to park the van behind to hotel to put up and down all the luggages. But overall, it is a very nice hotel with excellent location.

Nice place to stay in. The location of hotel was pretty nice as it was right on the street where it’s surrounded with restaurants and shops. Quite convenient for us to grab lunch and dinner. Highly suggest to stay at this hotel when visiting Guilin.

The Gangshe hotel was a great place and very easy to navigate around. We had an amazing stay and the romantic room was incredible. Staff are so helpful and kind too!
