Snow Town is a beautiful place with an idyllic landscape and many photo-taking opportunities. It can get quite crowded during dinner time.
Xuexiang Xueyun Holiday Hotel is situated in the 童话世界 area, which is on the main street. It had many food options around. The parade at night will pass by the hotel too.
The room was clean and cozy. Very warm and comfortable. The 'kang', which is the traditional heated bed, was a modern version that runs on electricity. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficient for a quick shower. Soundproofing is poor so don't expect silence until late.
Breakfast buffet was ok, but extremely crowded. Try to go earlier. Remember to bring your swimming costume if you are keen to go to the hot springs. The skiing was a very basic experience. They were quite pushy about us having to pay extra for protective equipment and coaching services. When we declined, we were left to our own devices. Ok if you wanted some pictures in ski gear, but you will be disappointed if you expect to pick up skiing.

Positioned in the middle of the Main Street, location is good. However, room condition is not at its best. There are 2 similar named hotels along the street so take note of which one you had booked to avoid going to wrong place.
