Good location about 10 min walk away from Togendai station. Room was basic but comfortable enough to have a good rest. Free snacks were provided in the room.
Private onsen was spacious and great for relaxing and showering, though only 4 private rooms are available and there may be a queue.
Buffet breakfast tasted great, with a variety of both Japanese and western dishes to choose from.

The room was great, newly renovated, with new facilities and convenient charging. The room had large windows, a mountain view like a painting, double beds and tatami, perfect for tea and rest. The dinner was kaiseki cuisine, very ceremonial, and the waiter could speak Chinese. There were two public hot springs and four private hot springs, with a variety of bathing options. In short, the service, hygiene, facilities, and transportation were all very good. I said so much because this was the most satisfying accommodation experience of my trip to Japan.

I booked it for a friend. It is an old four-star hot spring hotel, but the room is relatively large and the Western-style room is very comfortable. The hot spring is great. I will choose this hotel next time I go to Hakone.

If you walk down from Togendai, it will take about ten minutes. When you see the Hakone Sports Center, go into the tree-lined road on the right, and you will see the hotel after walking 20 meters. If you take a car, get off at Nanquanquanzhuang, cross the road, and walk back for 20 meters, you will see the hotel sign. Pay attention, you have to go back after getting off the bus, otherwise it is easy to miss. There are no places to eat around the hotel on foot, so if you don’t drive by yourself, it is recommended to book dinner and breakfast when booking the room, otherwise you will be like us, and you can only eat instant rice at night.
