"Check in took quite some time as there were many guests checking in at 3pm. The hotel has a western ryokan feel. It has 2 onsens which they alternate between men and women and I suggest going to both. The one on level 5 has a waterfall view. Dinner was buffet style and the variety was great. I super love the fresh Sashimi, the miso soup, the tempura and sushi, snow crab etc. Room was clean and spacious with our own outdoor Onsen bath. Would love to come back."

"We had the opportunity to stay at Fuji International Hotel for a night before our family holiday ended & I must say that this was actually the highlight of the trip with the warmest of hosts! The hosts went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay for all their guests, even entertaining through the night. Added another key memory for our Lake Yamanaka stopover. "This hotel is conveniently located. It is a traditional Japanese hotel with a lot of facilities. It is very beautiful, particularly the garden which is big and serene. The hot spring having both indoor and outdoor pools is impressive. The dining experience is fantastic because the setting is cosy and the food is extremely delicious. "I arrived pretty late at night, but the staff was still very kind and helpful, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and I felt relaxed right away. Breakfast wasn’t a huge buffet, but every dish tasted fresh and made with care, and I actually preferred that. You could feel the quality in each item. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Thanks for the warm hospitality!"

"Absolutely love this place! The staff are very friendly, and the onsen is clean and well-maintained. There are 3 outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools, along with a steam room and sauna, which make for a relaxing experience. The facility is open for both day trips and overnight stays, but staying overnight is much better for a more chill and leisurely time. There’s a massage chair available, but it requires payment. Breakfast is also delicious and definitely worth it. The only downside is the location—it’s not very convenient and requires some walking. If you’re traveling light, it’s manageable. They do have a payable shuttle bus, but the timing isn’t great. Walking can be pleasant if the weather’s nice, or you can opt for a taxi. Overall, I’ll definitely book this place again for the relaxing atmosphere!"

I also want to say that I have tattoos so, I wasn't able to enter the public onsens but the privates and the one in my room barely made me miss it. Also, souvenir shop is great and the yukatas that they lend you are just absolutely lovely."
