The most striking thing about the hotel is its location, guarding the Ganaraska River. During my stay, I met salmon salmon and witnessed the spectacular sight of the salmon swimming all over the place to the birthplace. The rooms are European in style and the Italian restaurant downstairs is especially stunning.

We booked 2 rooms on Aug. 6-7, 2021. Very happy to have found rooms for our last minute family gathering. We put our stuff in the room and left for dinner, back at 22:00. Everything seemed clean until I looked closer to the toilet and bathtub and they were FILTHY! Not just that they forgot to clean it but dirty for few days for sure. We sprayed with disinfectant and looked at our beds and at least, towels and beds had been cleaned! Not vacuum, fridge dirty, patio door filthy just to name some.... The next morning, we told the front desk lady about our room and even if, because of covid reasons, they were not supposed to come to the rooms, they redid the toilet and the tub and on our return, the bathroom looked spotless like it was supposed to be the first time. For the rest, we just accept it. We had the PERFECT SPOT to meet the family, sat outside, played games, and celebrated 2 birthdays! The breakfast was fine, the STAFF is very WELCOMING and HELPING but the basic , cleanliness had been forgotten!

Very impressive hotel for a 2 star rating! Very comfortable beds, easily accessible and close to so many good restaurants. Arthur's Pub is located within the same building and has fantastic dinner options! Breakfast is also provided for free. Room has mini fridge and a coffee maker but you need to request to have a microwave in the room.

New, clean and the staff were friendly and professional. Great location.
