Location was Great as it was right in front of the West Lake. Service wise was not badbut but the room had a foul smell, I had to have th windows open the whole time. We have requested for a room change but was asked to pay extra for upgrade if ever. Just wanted to have a clean room and not an upgrade

Exclusive, conveniently located on the lake  but it seemed worn on the inside.  the staff was nice.

Got a free upgrade to a better room. The location is just across the West lake, which makes it very convienent. The building and rooms are bit outdated and really need sone rennovation. it looks like there hasn't been any big updates since the 70s. Also, bit old smell but just bear it. this place is very convienent

Very good place to stay!

Location is perfect, service is great/friendly staff. My bed was comfortable but the second bed in the room had a bend in the mattress where a body once lied which made it extremely uncomfortable. Shower was good but the provided wash and shampoo weren’t great. Price is good. All things considered, I’d stay here again!

This is an old hotel. I stayed there 36 years ago. I feel it is still good now. It is close to the West Lake. Just across the road is the lake. It is great! I will go to the Overseas Chinese Hotel next time I go to Hangzhou.

Second stay. Huaqiao Hotel selling points: close to West Lake, Yintai in77, near Longxiang Bridge of subway. 51 Holiday Lake View Room 400+, Street View Room 300+, the price is extremely cheap. (Next door Grand Hyatt Lake View Room 2400+) Disadvantages: Old-fashioned decoration and facilities, too low bed, 1.5 large bed is a bit small. Four-piece suit is gray and not good-looking.

We have been staying here for a few days. The Overseas Chinese Hotel has a good location, on the edge of the West Lake. You can see the lake when you go out. The service is also good. The front desk check-in is very fast. The hotel is relatively old, but basically it has everything you need. The room has a bathtub. We can see the lake when we stay. The scenery is beautiful. The room is spacious and bright. The hotel has a buffet breakfast, 20 per person, with many varieties. I will come next time.

The room is very close to the West Lake. I booked a lakeside room and you can see the scenery of the West Lake from the window. The location is unique and the price-performance ratio is quite high. I have brought the elderly and children to stay here several times.

The room faces east, is very quiet, very bright, fully equipped, clean and hygienic, with 4 bottles of water! The service is in place, and the most important thing is that you can see the West Lake right outside. I feel like the whole West Lake belongs to me!

Very bad, not clean (two meanings), one is hygiene, the other is that aspect. The room is gloomy and scary. I suggest that a director come here to shoot a ghost movie, and I guess there is no need to set up the scene. The waiter's attitude is bad, from the front desk to the parking lot, the service staff are like uncles. Poor service can be forgiven, but the gloomy and scary is really unbearable. See the picture?
