The location is fantastic, right by West Lake, so you can enjoy the night view, the musical fountain show, and a night market for strolling in the evenings. The restaurants next to the hotel also offer delicious food. It was very pleasant to just walk around and try different places to eat.

Every year, I visit Hangzhou, and while the Overseas Chinese Hotel is a bit older, its proximity to West Lake and the pedestrian street is incredibly convenient for dining, sightseeing, and parking. We spent our days exploring, enjoying delicious food and beautiful scenery, then returned to the hotel for a shower and a good night's sleep, ready to head out again bright and early. It's truly excellent value for money.

Location was Great as it was right in front of the West Lake. Service wise was not badbut but the room had a foul smell, I had to have th windows open the whole time. We have requested for a room change but was asked to pay extra for upgrade if ever. Just wanted to have a clean room and not an upgrade

An old brand hotel with a good overall feeling. The West Lake scenic area and commercial area are right outside the hotel. It is also convenient to eat around. It is the first choice for a slow tour of West Lake during the day and night. It is worth recommending.

What should I say? I'll be honest. It feels like a Korean inn in Sokcho from the 1980s. Let me start with the good points. The location is perfect, right in front of Seoho Lake. You can just run out at sunset or sunrise. Just like that. I'm also very satisfied with the hotel price. I also like the McDonald's and convenience store on the first floor. The heating works great. Even though it was the cheapest room, there was a bathtub in the bathroom. Now, I'll tell you about the problems. The small refrigerator in the room didn't work, and the wallpaper was peeling. If I were to stay at this hotel again, I'd probably ask about the room condition at the front desk. I was only staying briefly by myself, so it didn't matter. I think they'd change it if I asked. The hotel had a lot of rooms.

Aside from its prime location within West Lake, this hotel is generally unsatisfactory. First, the front desk staff were rude. Second, the rooms were old and dark. Third, in a fourth-floor room, it took half an hour for the hot water to come out at a low temperature, so I couldn't shower due to being sweaty and smelly from my travels and had to sleep fully clothed. Fourth, the internet signal was so weak that I couldn't even connect to the internet properly. Fifth, the price was far too high for its poor facilities.

The advantages are its prime location by West Lake, close to Metro Line 1, and convenient access to the train station. For those planning to visit West Lake in the morning or evening, this hotel offers excellent value for money.
