I grabbed the tail end of summer and took a relaxing trip. Since I had a 6-month-old baby with me, I chose Xianyuan after comparing several B&Bs. The B&B is a renovated ancient house. It is located on the edge of the ancient town and is convenient for visiting scenic spots. It is along a field path and there is a green rice field at the door. It has a unique wild charm. There are not many rooms in the B&B, but the space and details are full of design. If you choose a tatami room, you don’t have to worry about your baby falling off the bed. The room is spacious and clean, equipped with central air conditioning, floor heating, smart toilets, purifiers, etc. The housekeeper was very attentive. He turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, waited in the parking lot early to greet us, carried luggage, and helped to hold and entertain the baby.

This was a really great stay. The hotel itself was super clean and nice, but really the owners made the trip worthwhile. They were incredibly generous and helpful, both with helping us figure out how to go hiking, how to find food, where to go. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy and fresh, and they were very friendly and polite and helpful. I was very happy to find this place.

Rooms are very big and super clean.
Staff is very friendly and they paid taxi fare from airport to hotel because i arrived after at 3am, and their shuttle bus from airport stop working between 2:00am and 4:00 am
Recommended if you have an early flight from Hangzhou XiaoShan AirPort.

I came to Hangzhou for a trip alone. When I first entered the courtyard, I felt like I had been there before, as if I had been there in a dream. When I arrived at the store, I saw a very gentle and elegant lady boss. She knew that I had menstrual cramps, so she made me black tea in the middle of the night to relieve the cramps. She also accompanied me to drink tea and chat. I was really touched. The living environment was very clean, refined and artistic. There were two cute little dogs in the courtyard. Many interesting stories happened during the four days of my stay. It was really healing. I was too tired from work, so I wanted to go on a spontaneous trip. This place really makes people relax their hearts. The breakfast is also delicious. Every day when I go downstairs, the aunt will enthusiastically serve me breakfast. I feel like a family member in another city. I thought it would be lonely to travel alone, but Green Sleeves gave me a feeling of home. A five-star praise! ! Green Sleeves is worth it. The last picture is attached. The handsome guy at the front desk took a photo of me in the small courtyard of Green Sleeves. I got some photos for free. Hahahaha, I hope to see you next time. Now Green Sleeves is my second home in Hangzhou. Hehe

Hidden in the depths of West Lake, Four Seasons Hotel West Lake is more precisely a City Resort. It is a wonderland of classical gardens, winding paths, rippling water, and looming courtyards. You can experience different seasons all year round... Choosing to stay here is a luxurious, peaceful, and pleasant enjoyment. The early communication with the front office manager, ********* girl Zixuan, was pleasant and warm. From the first day when we drove to the hotel gate, every staff member remembered my name. Entering the hotel lobby, we were greeted by our duty manager GarySun, who had prepared a bouquet of white roses and my favorite lotus bouquet and arranged everything. Guest relations Miss Lulu took us to the room. The luggage had been placed on the luggage rack... The room was in the style of the old money, and it was well maintained. The inner and outer terraces were bright and full of green. In the evening, the lotus pond was moonlit. It was quiet and beautiful. The disinfection was in place and there was not a single mosquito. I admire it! Mr. Bob and Miss Penny, the manager of the Black Pearl Sands Hall, wrote handwritten greeting cards, and I liked the small gifts very much. The table layout and hand-painted cartoon patterns are very pleasing. The food at Black Pearl has also been praised by my gourmet husband. Semi-buffet breakfast, like avocado Benedict eggs. Freshly steamed dumplings and osmanthus cakes in the Sands Hall. Freshly fried spring rolls. Pianerchuan, delicious! Caviar snacks are sweet and delicious, and the aftertaste is endless... Room delivery is not only full of ceremony but also first-class taste. Miss Judith's professional delivery service is also perfect. Thank you for giving us such a complete dining experience. Although there are some minor episodes in the few days of stay experience. However, the flaws do not outweigh the merits. Hangzhou West Lake Four Seasons is worthy of being ranked in the 2024 Global Luxury Hotel 100. It is worth staying and experiencing!!

It was my first time staying in a homestay in Hangzhou, and it really refreshed my perception. Sitting in this small tea garden and drinking tea, the scenery was stunning. The tea was given to me for free by the owner. The rock tea was made using the oolong tea technique, and I also learned a lot about tea. It was great!

Hygiene: Overall it is quite clean, but the homestay is a little old, but it is not a big deal.
Service: The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us deliver the quilt and put on the quilt.
Breakfast, a healthy Chinese breakfast. The front desk will deliver it to the door of the resident's room every morning.
Environment: Located near the Hupao Scenic Area, it is surrounded by green trees and layers of tea mountains, and the air is relatively good.
Welcome fruits: There are oranges and apples, etc., and a pot of spring water for Longjing tea.
Handmade snowflake souvenirs: Before leaving, we were given handmade candies, which is thoughtful❤️

The hotel is right at Exit B of Jianguo North Road Subway Station, which is very convenient for travel. The environment is clean and sanitary. There is a community market next to it, so breakfast is economical and affordable. You can go to Wulin Night Market at Exit B of Fengqi Road, two stops away! The Roujiamo and chicken feet and pig's trotters at the intersection are so delicious! It is very close to the Broken Bridge, two stops away + the West Lake special bus! The price is moderate! Like

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) is your main gateway airport, with direct flights from cities like Beijing, Hong Kong, and even Amsterdam. The airport sits about 30 km (19 miles) from downtown, but don’t stress—getting into the city is straightforward.

Best Areas to Stay in Hangzhou

Hhappy61I wanted to come here last year, but never had the chance. So I decided to celebrate my birthday here this year. The hotel's exterior environment is nice, but the facilities in the room are a bit old. Fortunately, the service is online, and every staff member is very enthusiastic and polite. This makes all the shortcomings seem insignificant. I would like to give special thanks to the front desk Jojo and the butler Benson. During my stay, they answered all my questions, replied to messages in seconds, and helped solve problems in time. They also decorated the room and gave me cakes and squirrels. Thank you!

First of all, the location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. There is a bus stop outside and the subway station is only a hundred meters away! Secondly, every staff member of the hotel is extremely professional and treats customers warmly and friendly! The hotel's hardware facilities are first-class and intelligent, and the fitness equipment is brand new to meet the needs of exercise! Finally, please look at the pictures. The breakfast is rich in variety, and Chinese and Western food can satisfy your various taste buds! It is worth praising that the pictures on the Internet are exactly the same as the actual ones, without false propaganda! Recommended to everyone!

GGuest UserI have been to Hangzhou many times. This time I chose Shusheng Xunzhen No. 1 Courtyard. The location is very good. You can walk to Lingyin Temple. Opposite is Hangzhou Flower Garden with few people and beautiful scenery. Through the flower garden, you can reach Guozhuang, Youhao Park, Zhaogong Dike... The hotel room area is larger than that of ordinary B&Bs, and the bedding is comfortable. The hotel has its own restaurant, which is also open to the public. The dishes taste very good. The housekeeper Xiaodai upgraded me to a family suite. Thank you! Hangzhou is beautiful, and everyone in Hangzhou is kind and beautiful!

Just by lifting your eyes, you are greeted with the picturesque beauty of West Lake, with its stunning scenery of shimmering water and lush mountains. In the morning, as you open the window, the fresh air, infused with the lake’s vibrant essence, rushes in, bringing a sense of tranquility and delight. The room is well-equipped with complete facilities. Special thanks to our butler, Xue Chen, for proactively assisting us in handling our lost items. We are very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come again.

YYYFUNThe hotel location is quite convenient, it's just a 6-10mins walking distance to the nearest metro station (subway), 16-20mins driving distance to Xiaoshan airport.
There are restaurants, convenience stores, supermarket, and pharmacies within walking distance.
It contains complete facilities with a restaurant for breakfast, a self-serve laundry, and a fitness room.
The double room is spacious, clean and hygienic, with all the necessary items in the room like a hair dryer, a kettle, a fridge, cups, free mineral waters and coffee.
The staffs at the front desk are nice, friendly and helpful, very good in service.
The only problem is that on the last day of my stay, there was a sudden problem with the light in the room. It would automatically go out every 10 mins+, and it would go out completely until the room is completely dark. I would either turn it on manually or call Xiaodu to turn on the light. But this is not only inconvenient but also scary, especially when I'm in the bathroom and suddenly the light went totally off. At first I thought I would check out in a few hours and just bear with it, but then it was too terrifying so I asked the front desk to change my room. Later on, I was told that the entire 9th and 10th floors had this problem and the rooms on these 2 floors were not rented out. (Does that mean I was the only one ”communicating” with the light in the room at the end of the corridor on the 10th floor alone that night? Why didn't you tell me earlier!) Hopefully, it's fixed before renting out the room again, and please make some arrangements for your customers if the similar issue happens again, especially I reported the issue in the afternoon and your engineer came and inspected the problem, you should have known that the issue couldn't be fixed, you can't imagine how scary it was. Anyway, the staffs were still acting quite fast when I finally changed my mind to request to change the room, a guy came and moved my luggage to the 8th floor as per my request.

我住的双人房舒适宽敞、干净卫生，房间内所有必需品一应俱全，如吹风机、电水壶、冰箱、杯子，还有免费矿泉水和咖啡。
前台的小哥哥和小姐姐们都很亲切友善，服务态度很好。
美中不足的是，在我入住的最后一天，房间的灯突然出了问题，每隔10几分钟就会自动熄灭一次，而且是整个熄灭导致房内漆黑一片。我要嘛就手动打开，或是呼叫小度把灯打开。但这样不仅不方便而且也很可怕，尤其是我在卫生间的时候，突然之间就伸手不见五指。我原本想说还有几个小时就退房就忍一忍，但后来实在可怕还是让前台给我换了房。后来才知道原来9楼10楼都有这样的问题，已经不外租了。（那就是说当晚只有我一个人在10楼？还是在走廊尾部的房间里独自跟灯光在“沟通”？怎么不提早说啊！真把我吓得够呛……）希望问题解决之后才把房间租出去。而且以后如果有类似的事情发生请立即为你们的房客作出安排，尤其我下午已经提出问题，工程师师傅下午就来修理你们就已经知道修不好的情况下，你们无法想象当时的情况有多可怕。不过还好当我改变主意要换房的时候，前台还是行动蛮快的，也按我的要求帮我把行李搬运下8楼。

IIntrepid Traveller8Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand.
I would say some things for improvement are as follows:
Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here.
Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left!
Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated.

The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on
携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better.
The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels.

The location of the hotel is impeccable. It is located in the core area of the city, with convenient transportation around and the subway station close at hand. Whether it is to enjoy the lake and mountains in West Lake or to go shopping in the bustling commercial street, it can be easily reached. There are also many special snack streets and shopping malls around to meet various needs.
The service of the hotel is even better. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The front desk staff greeted with a smile, and the check-in procedure was fast and efficient. During the stay, if there are any problems, as long as you ask the staff, they will help solve them as soon as possible, making people feel cared for.
In terms of hygiene, the hotel has done an excellent job. The room is spotlessly clean, the sheets and quilts are clean and tidy, there is no odor in the bathroom, and all kinds of facilities are neatly arranged, making people feel very at ease.
What surprised me most was the hotel's catering. The variety of breakfast is also rich, which can meet the taste needs of different people.

Need to wait very long for hot water at the basin tap in the morning. Bathing area water pressure is not strong enough. Staff at concierge makes us pay more for adjacent rooms and did not offer free upgrade unlike other hotels. Only good point about the hotel is we can request for free items such as mosquito repellent and eye masks, and they are delivered by the robot. If the items are not available, there is no follow up from the staff. There is smart toilet bowl. Location is near railway station but not near train station.

The disadvantage is that there is no sound insulation. The wood on the floor makes a creaking sound when walking. I can hear people walking at night, turning on and off lights next door, opening suitcases upstairs, and talking from somewhere. I didn't bring earplugs because I saw other people's comments that the hotel provides earplugs, but I didn't bring them when I actually went there.
In addition, as shown in Figure 1, the toilet and bedroom are next to each other, and there is no sealed door, so there is a smell.
The hotel is supposed to be non-smoking, but ashtrays are provided, and there is a smell of smoke in the elevator and the room. Especially in the room, the smoke will flow in through the pipes.
