Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake

The room design is indeed very nice and stylish. The location is quite convenient, but if you're specifically coming to see West Lake, I wouldn't recommend it, as you can only see a small corner of it. The entrance is an orange automatic door, and then there's a black automatic door on the right, which I almost missed. Overall, I'd still recommend it for a trip to Hangzhou.

Canopy by Hilton Hangzhou West Lake: Fantastic location, close to West Lake and Hubin. Trendy design, great for photos, with Dyson amenities, capsule coffee, and even a bistro. The standard rooms are a bit small, lower floors can be noisy, and there's no swimming pool. Perfect for young people looking to explore, eat, and take pictures.

The value for money is quite poor. For a room costing almost 1500, the toys are significantly fewer compared to Shanghai. A Hope-themed room in Shanghai at this time would only be around 1600. The floor is old and even creaks when you walk on it. The smart toilet was malfunctioning, requiring manual flushing many times, and the bathtub was out of order, needing repair. 😂 For a family room, the bed is far too small, and the promised children's meals were also missing. The hotel staff's service was generally good, but overall, at this price in the off-season, the quality is quite unsatisfactory. I hope they can improve the room facilities.

The room was super spacious with excellent natural light! Vicky even thoughtfully prepared birthday greetings and snacks in advance. I'm very satisfied with this trip. It's a rare find, a loft-style apartment in the Hubin business district, especially perfect for someone like me who values indoor space.

The breakfast was plentiful, and I was really impressed by the genuine and warm service from Lynray. The housekeeping staff were great too. 👍 However, the overall hotel environment and facilities feel more suited for couples.

The hotel environment is lovely and beautiful. The staff are also very nice, polite, and thoughtful. Ms. Kitty even asked about our stay experience during check-out, which was a refreshing touch. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We were two adults and two children, and unfortunately, we couldn't get a twin room with 1.5m beds when we booked at the last minute. The family suite turned out to be a standard king room with an additional sofa bed. My first impression upon entering the room was that it felt small, and it didn't quite match the room type shown in the pictures. The sofa bed was tucked away in a small, separate space. However, once the housekeeping staff made up the sofa bed, both kids absolutely loved their little private nook. We all slept soundly for the several nights we stayed – it was small but practical. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which was a semi-a la carte system. The restaurant was never crowded or noisy, and food came out quickly after ordering. Starting each morning with a bowl of Pian'er Chuan was simply delightful. Also, the front desk lady, Neva, was incredibly gentle in her speech and highly efficient. She thoughtfully informed us about the hotel policies and restaurant operating hours. Definitely worth a return visit!

This hotel is really nice! It's right by West Lake, close to Intime and In77, all within walking distance, which was super convenient for shopping and dining with kids! The room was spacious and soundproof, ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay. They offered a photoshoot during the day and live music at night! We were supposed to check in at 3 PM, but our family arrived early, and they quickly cleaned the room so we could check in over an hour early! They even stored our luggage before check-in, then brought it to our room after we had dinner – truly a butler-style service! When we checked out, our child accidentally damaged something minor, but they were very understanding and didn't deduct anything from our deposit. Thanks to the hotel for giving us such a pleasant trip; we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Hangzhou!

We've stayed at the Canopy by Hilton in Shanghai a few times. This trip to West Lake, with my elderly parents and child, we wanted to be closer to the lake. We decided against the garden hotels due to the rain and deliberated between the Grand Hyatt and this hotel for a while. Fearing the Grand Hyatt might be too old, we chose this one. The family room was a pleasant surprise, filled with toy cars, and the hotel even sent us a bottle of wine. My only slight disappointment is that it's a bit of a walk, not as ideally located as the Grand Hyatt. Everything else was fantastic!
