Muhua Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Broken Bridge)

My sister and I chose this hotel for our spring trip to Hangzhou, and it was an amazing experience! The location is superb, about 6km from Prince Bay Park, making it super convenient to get there by taxi. No stress at all for spring flower viewing! The hotel environment is clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. We didn't have to worry about hygiene issues at all. The biggest bonus was the front desk staff – so warm and thoughtful! We arrived quite late on a rainy day, and she even came out to help us direct parking, which was incredibly heartwarming. As out-of-towners, we had tons of questions, and she answered them all patiently and meticulously, with such a gentle demeanor. There's free parking (though spaces can be tight) and two slow-charging stations. Plus, there are lots of great restaurants nearby, making it easy to eat and explore. The value for money is absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou!

The lobby offers hot tea, and the aroma is delightful. There's also a well-stocked supermarket nearby. You can walk to West Lake in about 15-20 minutes, and Lingyin Temple isn't far either. Plus, they have their own parking lot.

The front desk team is amazing! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. A huge thank you to every member of the front desk team yesterday who helped my girlfriend retrieve her phone that she left in a Didi taxi. Even though we're foreign tourists and barely speak any Mandarin, everyone was incredibly polite and caring towards us. I really love this hotel and the people; it was truly an unforgettable experience. I'll definitely be back. Thanks again to everyone we met yesterday, we hope we didn't cause too much trouble ❤️

I can only say, this is NOT a 4-star hotel, NOT a 4-star, NOT a 4-star! Don't be fooled. It completely falls short of 4-star standards, whether it's the environment or the facilities. The soundproofing is terrible, the towels are thin, and the bathroom leaks, with water flowing out – I almost slipped. All the amenities feel pretty cheap. It absolutely doesn't deserve a 4-star rating. I don't know what Trip.com is thinking, to actually rate it four stars. I really don't get it.

Pretty good, not bad! 😯 It's very close to Duanqiao (Broken Bridge), and there are plenty of local snacks nearby.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and tidy. It's very close to all of Hangzhou's attractions, and you can easily stroll around West Lake nearby. Right outside the hotel, there are breakfast spots, barbecue restaurants, beef hotpot places, convenience stores, and more.

The room was clean, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation design. Housekeeping was prompt, and the front desk service was attentive. To be honest, the complimentary breakfast was just so-so. The hotel environment itself was quite good, and I loved the matcha-scented diffuser – too bad they didn't give it to me to take home! 🙁
