Nostalgia S Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake)

We had a blast in our Chengdu hotel, so we booked the same brand for our Hangzhou hotel, and it was the best decision we ever made. Location was near west lake su causeway entrance. We got bikes and just biked around the west lake. Laundry room was free and big. Breakfast was simple but delicious. There is free snack in the room, free drinks as well. Congee and egg as midnight snacks too! We felt right at home here. I forgot to mention, they have gym and playroom as well.

Greet location for exploring the West Lake. If you're planning to explore the West Lake by foot or by bike this is a great base. You can walk to the lake in less than 5 minutes, near one of the best sections. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. They helped us order delivery food one night which was then delivered to our room by robot. The room was relatively compact but was clean with everything we might want. It had an art deco style theme that was pleasant. Shower was spacious, with hot powerful water. Porridge and eggs are made available by the hotel each evening for free which is a nice touch though we didn't make use of them. We did make use of the self-service laundry room which we did find convenient, though we did have to wait for dryers to become free as the laundry room seemed quite popular whilst we were there. Breakfast was OK, good but not great. Options were relatively limited and nothing stood out. Breakfast was also very busy, the breakfast room seemed too small for the number of guests and it was all a bit chaotic and trying to get space was difficult. The toaster machine also made a very unpleasant high pitched noise. It was not a relaxing breakfast experience. So improvement could be made for breakfast but otherwise a good stay with a great location.

Very nice newly opened hotel. Good location right inside West Lake with walking distance. Detailed warm service provided from staff.

Recommended for families. Room is big and hotel has an indoor playground facilities for kids. Very good service.

The hotel was fairly nice, the location all though being convenient to get to west lake was quite terrible to drive to with some very narrow roads, the hotel had some simple amenities. Breakfast was very lacking for the price, my biggest problem was that I paid extra money for a Mountain View room and was staring at a cliff face and a wall of air conditioners, and for such a new hotel I don’t understand how the room can have such dirty carpets and water damage on the ceiling

Hotel was ok, very easy to go to west lake and metro, parking is a little difficult at the hotel

One of my favourite hotels in the Hangzhou region. Would highly recommend for those looking to stay near the famous Xihu Lake! The hotel is located on a quiet street within a 6mins walk from Xihu Lake. The service was superb as well, they offered free washing machine and drying service, and useful amenities/utilities including cotton buds, shoe wipes, etc. Would definitely recommend for foreign tourists.

The room is great. Love every detail. Small hotel with warm ambience and service. Location is good, it is only 5 min walk away from Westlake. And the service is superb, ms. Li help us a lot, even while we were not in the hotel. Salute to her and They also have a smart room assistant, called Xiaodu xiaodu Tq Ms Li…. Rooms: 5 Location: 5 Service: 5
