Diamond Westlake Suites

Initially as we checked in to Diamond Westlake suites our first impression was that it was more a 3 star than a 4 star. The apartment and provisions are very basic. The apartment is a bit old and feels a bit tired. However, the space is good, and the pool very nice. The breakfast was fine with enough variety for different tastes. We also ate in the restaurant on our first night. It was a bit quiet so we were a little nervous but the food was absolutely delicious. A great introduction to vietnamese food. There is also a small shop immediately below the lobby area which is very convenient. We didn't have much interaction from staff, so hard to judge the service but I guess we didn't notice a particularly welcoming effort. Despite this we enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to travel to Hanoi, about 15minutes in the taxi, also a short walk away there are shops and restaurants. Overall everything is fine, a convenient place to stay for families and if you want to stay in a quieter area away from Hanoi. No major problems, but not really a 4 star quality feel. More attention to detail in cleanliness and service would make a huge difference.

Have spent there over a week and it kept getting worse closer to the end. On my last morning I even found a long black hair in the breakfast food.

Location ok, Facility not good enough, Service not bad, transportation no good

Great location in Hanoi for peace and to relax. Get Grab ro anywhere like Old Quarters easily. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast is good sufficient but don’t expect 5 star to compare.
