Harbin Junyi Hotel (Central Street Sofia Church)

An absolutely incredible experience! [Strong][Strong][Strong] This time, my two friends and I stayed at the Junyi Hotel (Central Street Branch), a hidden gem tucked away on an unassuming street. The location is superb, just a few steps from Central Street, with tons of authentic local restaurants nearby. The hotel itself boasts a luxurious yet elegant and warm style, with top-notch facilities and impeccable cleanliness. The Russian-style afternoon tea, available almost all day, was a lovely touch. The breakfast spread was dazzling; in addition to the buffet with various local specialties, there were three delicious set menus to choose from. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. What truly stood out was the hotel staff's incredibly attentive and devoted service – it’s been a long time since I've experienced such high-quality service. For me, a seasoned traveler who spends half the year in hotels around the world, this was an unforgettable experience. A huge thumbs up to them! [Strong][Strong][Strong]

The room was spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. It was quiet at night, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The location is super convenient with plenty of food options nearby, and it's easy to get around to local attractions.

The location is fantastic, just a two to three-minute walk from Central Avenue, and about a 5-minute stroll to Hongzhuan Street Morning Market. The service was excellent. Someone helped us with our luggage right at the hotel entrance, and we were offered afternoon tea upon arrival. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. Our room was on the first floor and had a lovely view of a small courtyard. The room was equipped with a humidifier and a smart toilet. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The room exceeded my expectations, and the front desk even upgraded our room type. The staff were incredibly welcoming; the lady at the reception was very enthusiastic, and the gentleman even helped us with our luggage to the room, explaining everything in detail. It was such meticulous service and made us feel very secure. On the night of our check-in, we enjoyed complimentary freshly made wontons, which were delicious and warmed us right up. The next morning, we had the hotel's buffet breakfast, which was convenient and just the right amount. The freshly ground soy milk was amazing! We stayed for 2 nights, and upon check-out, the front desk gave us a small gift and helped carry our luggage to the car. Every little detail was perfect. Truly five-star treatment. This trip to Harbin brought so much emotional value, and I had an amazing time. Huge thanks to every front-line staff member at the hotel. Next time I'm in Harbin, I'll definitely choose Junyi again.

This hotel was fantastic, far exceeding my expectations. Initially, I chose it simply because it was affordable and conveniently located near Central Street, so I didn't have high hopes. However, I was genuinely surprised upon arrival. Regarding the facilities, it's an old Russian-style building, so the overall structure isn't brand new. But the room itself showed no signs of age; the cleaning and hygiene were impeccable, and the bedding was visibly new, neat, and pure white. It seems the hotel put a lot of effort into renovations after taking over the building. The location speaks for itself; you can see it clearly on the map. Turn right out the door and you're on Central Street, and it's a short ten-minute walk to Saint Sophia Cathedral. It's incredibly convenient for exploring nearby attractions. I've included street views and attractions around the hotel in the photos. What truly stood out was the service. Our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, and a very enthusiastic security guard immediately came to help with our luggage and guided us to the front desk. His tone was incredibly warm and cheerful, giving me the impression that he genuinely enjoyed his job. Opposite the front desk was a self-service area with various snacks and refreshments. The front desk staff thoughtfully invited us to eat and drink while checking in, all free for guests. I've never seen such a generous spread in a lobby before. Afterwards, a front desk attendant even escorted us to our room, explained the facilities, and we were welcomed with complimentary fruit and a mini-bar. Usually, you'd expect this level of service from a hotel costing at least 2000 yuan a night. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. After experiencing incredibly poor service at the previous hotel, this one, which was even cheaper, offered a world of difference in service. The service here felt comparable to hotels in Beijing costing 6000 yuan a night. It truly made me feel right at home.
