Harbin Junyi Hotel (Central Street Sofia Church)

Overall, this was the best hotel of our trip to Northeast China. It truly lives up to its rating and feels genuinely upscale. Many hotels in the Northeast have high star ratings that they fail to deliver on, but this one pays great attention to detail. The cleanliness is exceptional, and every floor has a very pleasant, soothing fragrance. The staff are well-educated and have a wonderful attitude, proactively helping with luggage. It’s not just the typical casual warmth of the Northeast, but a high level of professionalism that clearly comes from proper training. They even gave us farewell souvenirs at the end. The hotel is in a great location—just a few minutes' walk to Central Street (Zhongyang Street) with plenty of dining options nearby. The room is very quiet and sensibly laid out, featuring a luggage storage area and a large, spotless bathroom. The facilities are fully equipped, and the bathrobe is extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic; although the dining space isn't very large, it offers a combination of set meals and a buffet. We had the beef noodles, pumpkin soup, and a salmon sandwich. Breakfast runs until 10:00 AM, and afternoon tea starts right at 11:00 AM. Snacks are available in the lobby at all times, and there is a lovely little courtyard where you can swing on a hammock/swing, sit at a small table for great photo ops, or just relax and enjoy some tea. The only minor drawback is that the laundry room is a bit small and messy, and for some reason, our clothes wouldn't dry properly. We hope they can improve this. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at Junyi Hotel during our family trip to Harbin! It's conveniently located near Central Street, making it super easy to explore and hit the main attractions. The hotel features an indoor playground where the kids could play to their hearts' content, which was a huge lifesaver for parents. There's also a 24-hour self-service laundry room fully equipped with washers, dryers, and complimentary detergent. Traveling with kids means doing laundry frequently, so having this on-site solved a major headache for us. The rooms have a charming vintage vibe, are nice and quiet, and offer a comfortable atmosphere overall. The combination of the kids' play area and the self-service laundry makes this hotel incredibly family-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Harbin with kids!

The front desk service was excellent; the staff were warm and polite. They went out of their way to help resolve any issues, which made our trip very pleasant. The overall environment and hygiene were top-notch, and our room was fresh and odorless. The hotel also has a gym, which was perfect for unwinding and stretching after a day of sightseeing. It's a great choice for fitness enthusiasts.

Right on the bustling Central Avenue, they arranged a coveted paid parking spot right in front of the hotel for us – a huge plus! As soon as we entered, we were offered afternoon tea at a cozy seating area while checking in. It was my first time enjoying such a lavish afternoon tea, with a wide variety of delicious items, absolutely no corners cut. They proactively upgraded our room, and the two 1.2-meter beds put together were large and super comfortable. We also received welcome fruit, a souvenir, and sleep-aid milk, all of excellent quality. The accommodation environment, facilities, and service were all fantastic. Getting around from Central Avenue was incredibly convenient. It was also easy to visit the Hongzhuan Street morning market. There are many famous Qiqihar BBQ and Russian restaurants nearby, making it perfect for dining and sightseeing.

I booked this hotel in the bustling commercial district primarily for easy access to Central Street. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, especially given the extremely limited parking. The doorman helped keep an eye on our car, and the front desk attendant even assisted with parking. When we checked out, the staff promptly inspected the room and immediately notified us about forgotten items. Throughout our two-day stay, we experienced high-quality service, which made our visit very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Harbin without a car.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to all the main attractions. The laundry room is on the 6th floor, equipped with both washers and dryers, which was super convenient.

Facilities: The facilities are quite new. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned very well. Environment: The decor is nice, but the scent in the hallway was a bit too strong. Service: Both the doorman (older gentleman) and the front desk lady were very enthusiastic and welcoming.

Comfortable, clean, and a superb location! It's incredibly close to Central Street, and the bedding was super comfy. The front desk staff were friendly and always ready to help with any issues. Although I couldn't enjoy afternoon tea in the courtyard due to the weather, the one offered at the front desk was still plentiful and delicious.

The room was clean, spacious, and bright. All the staff, including front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and valet, provided excellent service. The location is superb, very close to the Old Synagogue Concert Hall, Red Brick Morning Market, and Central Street!
