The location of this hotel is very strategic, very near to the railway station and all the surrounding shopping malls. The breakfast is superb!

The hotel is a bit old, but generally clean, with some areas seemingly renovated. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station. On snowy days, it's easier to use the underground passage, as pulling luggage through thick snow on the surface would be quite difficult.

Great location adjacent to a shopping centre. Walk to most attractions. Room was big. Reception staff were fantastic.

It has bidet!!! 10/10. First time to see one in EU. Perfect location just right outside of the hotel is a tram stop. It has a grand lobby with a nice overlooking of a Town Square which is good for People Watching. Room is clean and spacious. I was able to checkin early at 12pm. My only complaint is the pillow. It’s too ‘bloated’ and not comfortable for sleeping. So I used the duvet of my other bed (being in a Twind Bed Room) as my pillow. The handwash container was empty. But the shower is nice. Strong waterflow.

However, it closes a bit early — breakfast ends at 10:00 AM, which may feel slightly rushed for guests who prefer a more relaxed morning. The room is comfortable and warm, which is especially important during cold weather. Bathroom amenities are mostly complete, but toothbrushes and razors are not provided, which would be a nice addition for a hotel at this level. Aside from that, other amenities are well-prepared and sufficient. Overall, Scandic Simonkenttä offers a comfortable stay, excellent location, and good service. With a few small improvements, especially regarding bathroom amenities and breakfast hours, it would be an even better experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Helsinki Central Station and many famous indoor attractions like the Rock Church, Amos Rex Art Museum, and Ateneum Art Museum. The hotel is also conveniently located next to a major shopping center, making it easy to grab a bite to eat or shop. Plus, there's a tram stop right outside the door. The price was very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend it. Just a tip: don't forget to pack your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. Overall, it's a great base for exploring Helsinki!

The front staff really helpfull , it located near train station, tram stop right outside the hotel , it also connected to the kamppi shopping mall , also the breakfast also good , we had a wonderful stay here. Thankyou for all the staff, all of you great 👍

The hotel is nearby the city centre. The location is excellent! Worth to stay.

Very easy to reach and good to find, but the bathroom without cover is not so good.

The hotel elevator goes straight down to the B1 level, which is a shopping area. It's very convenient.

Everything was amazing but there is a toilet window whereby the person in the room could easily look into the person showering in the toilet. This might make some people uncomfortable to room together…

Very near the central station. Nice buffet breakfast with many choices. Clean and big room. Good view over the stunning chapal.

Should have a kettle in the room. Apart from that is good. Staff are very nice. Breakfast is good. The location is great. Not far from the Train station and the shopping center. The shops and supper market are there.
