One Marine Drive Boutique Hotel & Spa by the Living Journey Collection

When applied to a hotel, boutique should mean more than small. It certainly does here! Amazing location on Marine Drive with panoramic view of the bay from our room. Beautifully appointed and furnished room (and comfortably large to boot). This was a luxury stay! The staff were friendly and very helpful. This comes with my highest recommendation.

I had such a lovely stay at One Marine Drive -- the location is fantastic, right along the Cliff Path with scenic walking routes in both directions, right across from the iconic Fick's Pool and restaurants, and a short walk into town. The room was clean, comfy, and had a gorgeous view of the ocean -- we even saw whales and dolphins! Looking forward to returning in the future

The One Marine Drive Boutique hotel team understands that good customer service is a minimum, an exceptional experience is what we are after and it is also the ultimate differentiator. Every interaction with the staff, every touch point, the amenities - everything was considered. We will be returning to this property and look forward to exploring the other Living Journey properties.

Lovely boutique hotel about a ten minute walk from the center of Hermanus. Comfortable rooms, excellent, helpful staff, nice breakfast, and convenient location. We enjoyed One Marine a lot and would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at the Small Hotel in Roberston a few times and have loved so we thought we'd stick with Living Journey in Hermanus. I realise it's out of season but it really wasn't great. When we checked in they thought we'd booked one room, we'd booked and paid up front for two rooms. We were the only people in the hotel and clearly there wasn't as much attention or focus as normal. Wine by the glass tasted corked like it had been open in the fridge for a while. Rooms were cold at night but no extra blankets. No hot water in our bathrooms so we're told shower in another room on the opposite side of the hotel. When we mentioned to the manageress that it wasn't heat, we received a very surly attitude, no apology or anything. The kitchen staff were extremely noisy on the premises. It was a disappointing experience compared to the Small Hotel.

One Marine Drive - what a fabulous hotel. The Manager ( Nomsa) was extraordinarly helpful & everyone we had interactions with (particularly Pinky & the other young chap great at breakfast great) Extremely clean inxcellent location on cliff front just a quick walk or cab away from the hectic centre. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room and very spacious. Staff were all extremely helpful and the level of service was excellent.
